all of gamboas stupid reasons point to something in the amateur days....because he didnt get kod by an ancient felix savon, he has a good chin...****ing joke
i hope his being a good amateur 10 years ago helps him win at least a round.....remember when he was so great as an amateur he wasnt almost 300 pounds :rofl

Sorry mate but Haye didn't run out of gas, he run out of BALLS, what a disgrace for British Boxing, if I was British I would be very disaponted with Haye, here's a Boxer with talent but no cojones , I remember watching that fight and although Im Cuban I was embarrased by David Haye behaviour in that fight, from the 2nd round on Haye chikened out, even if you listen to the Irish commentator ( I forgot his name, but he was a good boxer ) you can hear his disapointment when he said that all David Haye needed to do was "Go outthere and fight!.From that day on I knew that he would amount to nothing, I knew that on the rare possibility( Fluke ) that he get his hand on any title ( wich he did ) he would milk that title for all is worth ( wich he is doing now ) .
He don't want to fight the Klitschkos because he knows he would lose and when Solis defats Vitali ( asuming he's not robbed ) believe me he won't fight Solis , not after knowing how Solis reacts when he gets caught with a good punch, now he wants to fight a nobody who he already defeated . What does that tell you ? No Heart, no Balls , just in for the money and what really astound me is how many Brits he's blinded, even when he proves again and again what a joke he is, Frank Warren said recently that Haye and his team were the most difficult negotiators he has ever seen , read between the lines, what does that tell you ? You only make things difficult when you don't want them! ( Im won't even talk about Audley Harrison role in Boxing here ) Peace.

I do agree Solis is fast by Vitali is also very fast. I unfortunately didn't get to see but a little of Austin-Solis. Be an interesting fight.

I wouldn't go so far to call his reasoning stupid, he does have some valid points. Personaly, I would like to see what kind of shape Solis comes in at the weigh-in, before I'm sold on a Solis victory.

But one thing I am sure of, Vitali ain't KOing the cuban.

Yes I was refering to Diogenes Luna, what a fighter he was , he could punch , he could move , he didn't have a great defence but he had a good chin, but most of all he had a Boxing style tailor made for the pro game ....what a waste of talent. Yes Luna didn't punch harder than Savon but like Savon he was a K.O artist, only thing was that he was 64 kg and Savon was a Heavy, but again : ! What a Boxer ! When he sparred Solis it was at middleweight
( Solis was only 15 ) but already they were preparing Solis to be a H.W ,
( at 15 Solis was nearly 6 feet and stoky ) and that means Savon, I would give an arm and a leg to see that fight ( Solis vs Savon ) , I was already in England when that fight took place, but my Brother told me that Savon went out 100'/. and still couldn't do it ! For me the hardest punchers in Cuban boxing of all time are :
    ( 1 ) Teofilo Stevenson ( H.W )
    ( 2 ) Angel Espinosa ( 75 Kg )
    ( 3 ) Felix Savon ( 91 Kg )

    Peace. IMO.

Pound 4 pound after 1959 nobody hit harder than Felix Betancourt, LHW Castillo (Nancio's brother) was a hard hitter too, it was another MW from Las Villas or Camaguey that I can't recall his name he was a KO artist, and one of my favorites Jose Gomez, he just went after you and once he hit you it all over.

Thanks my brother for backing me up, you are right, I don't see Vitaly stopping Solis in any way. Vitaly has to win on points and Solis is a tough cookie as he also throws very hard and accurate punches ! Solis will take Vitaly's best shots, but the question is: Can Vitaly take Solis best shots?

    Saludos!
