You know Wlad won gold at the 96 olympics?

Vitali's amateur record was 195-15. He would have taken part in the 96 olympics but was replaced by Wlad because he tested positive for a banned substance.

" NOBODY WINS AN OLYMPIC GOLD WITH A FLUKE " ...... Well Audley did and if you consider competing and wining something in the extremely weak European Champioships and being considered for a filling role in a World Title fight as a great achievement , well ...........

wladimir was the olympic champion and military world champion, vitali was military world champion and amateur world champion. and 131 -6 with 69 ko (Wladimir) yeah thats very good. vitali has something like 150 -15 with 80 kos. so yeah they were pretty good amateurs. but the most important thing is that amateurs are great technical boxers. but pros is very different. you have to completly change your approach, to change your tactics. to become a different fighter. solis is a better amateur, but he won't be a better pro boxer

¿ Just one ? For such a " great amateur " as wladimir fans makes him it's not enough and for the other one being banned for dopping I only said this : " Old habits die hard " .......Peace.

That a very inmature statement , IM NOT A BOXER but if I was I would take my career very seriously indeed , not talking rubbish in the BBC all the time at how I would be a World Champion in less than 2 years ( Audleys words ) , How I'm the best british boxer since Lewis , etc , I would live in the Gym if I was a boxer with the exposure Harrison got by " winning " that medal, let me tell you that David Haye is doing the same and will get the biggest beating of his life IF he faces Wladimir in July... It's kind of becoming a British thing I believe ....peace

So in resume : One was once an Olympic Champion and the other was once a World Champion , ¿ That's it ? This mean they were good but not GREAT. Peace.

I think its immature to imagine, that Olympic golds are winned with flukes. Its hard as hell to even qualify in them.

Easy to say. Besides looking what shape Audley is and what level he has competed, he dosent look a guy who dosent take training seriously.

Talking for media doesn’t mean he isn’t taking training seriously. Weird double standards to give Solis a credit for his gold and dismissing Audleys achievement.
Either you appreciate the biggest price amateur boxer can win or you don’t.
If you don’t you clearly don’t know you’re boxing.

    ok

Wining just one Olympics may be great for you Brits because in the History of boxing you have won nothing but not for us ( No disrespect here ) .Wining one Olympic and one World by two different boxers is good but compared with Cuban standards ITS OK , must great Cuban boxer win MULTIPLE TITLES in their career, but I understand your anger , believe me , because you have won **** all , about your desire of Vitali beating Solis it can happen , as I said before Solis is not invencible ( nobody is ) so If that happens I don't know what will prove by it , by the way you express yourself I can see that you are a kid so I will give you a pass and won't be dragged in a posting discussion with you so see you later and take care of yourself . Peace.

haha man you are hilirious. i explain it to you slowly and clear. wladimir klitschko won the olympic gold medal at 20 years of age, he was already military world champion and european amateur champion and silver medalist at the amateur world championship. so he turned pro at 20 years of age and is still at the top after 15 years as a professional boxer. yeah his amteur carreer was **** because he had only a two years time frame to become olympic champion, military world champion, a couple of junior world championships and so on. yeah his amateur carreer was plain and simple just good. i have to say sorry for my improper language. i used it because you are unbelievble annoying. i won't argue about you me calling a kid and so on, because you are not worth it. and i don't want to compare academics levels which you perhaps have or not have. a sidenote english is my third language and you are an annoying twat

What an idiotic statement that is. Wladimir may have only 1 olympic title at the mere age of 20 but that is because he turned pro immediately afterwards and couldn't have competed at the previous olympics at age 16, so he won every olympic title he was eligible for.

And how many olympic titles has Solis won? Yep only one and all his 3 world titles where at an age greater than Wladimirs when he won olympic gold.

Your posts are begining to reek of bias.

Same here. I was hoping for a competitive fight but now I'm hoping Vitali puts on another brutal beat down.
