Difference is most Cubans don't turn pro, they have much longer amateur careers so have the time to build up an impressive amatuer record, winning multiple titles. While their contemporaries like Lewis, Wladimir, Frazier, Ali, Foreman go on to build much more impressive professional records, they all may only have the 1 olympic title but they have professional world titles to more than make up for it.

I agree Solis will beat Vitali. Hes technically a better fighter and he knows who he is in the ring, unlike most of Vitalis opponents. I think Solis breaks him down gradually and turns up the pressure late. I dont know if I think it will go the distance or not, but I think there will be controversy. Not only is the fight in Vitalis backyard, but Oner is involved.

 

Good post , yes I also believe there will be controvercy in that fight , in fact I smell a ROBBERY on Solis of some sort , there's just too much at stake for Vitali in this fight , business wise I mean , so Solis have to make a big statement , he has to be clever and pound Vitali without mercy , show everybody he's the better boxer .
