    It is a disgrace to watch him fight.. I was a huge Wlad fan since 1998. I mean it, the people who know me since 2001 here on ESB, know that i was a huge Wlad fan.

    however, it is a disgrace to watch Grabdimir Clinchko. WTF is up with him???

    i am soooo upset that i left the banwagon.. i couldn't even watch the Povetkin fight..

    and you thought John Ruiz was huggy bear??? sheeeettt... Wlad would get Gold Medal for Grabbing Contest..

    Now, I am still huge Vitali fan.. Now, that's a bad Mofo! :happy:happy

    Grabimir Clinchko?? :!::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

    I have to agree, the shame is that Wlad has all the tools to be both exciting and successful at the same time.

    Pre 05 he was a joy to watch, great punch selection, power and really mobile for a man his size.

    I agree that Vitali is better. I always thought so.

    But Wlad has been extremely successful.

    Povetkin ran into Wlad's chest all night, couldnt get enough of being grabbed, maybe he was looking for a fatherly figure to soothe the pain.

    Wladimir hasn't looked good in his past two fights, I think age is catching up with him. He's had a LOT of fights, as an amateur then as a pro. He pushes himself hard in training for every fight.

    He used hold a bit when necessary, but not excessively. He was holding and leaning on Povetkin far too much, and leaned on Pianeta a lot too.

    Last time I saw the prime version of Wlad was against Wach, in the thoroughly entertaining fight. But I think he's faded a bit now.

    That's true. Povetkin made it worse by bullrushing over and over again. He admitted in a Russian interview he didn't have a plan "B".

    Vlad stopped Thompson two times and easily beat the Hell out of 6 foot 8 inch 250 lb. Wach who was on steroids.....................Vlad fights tall fighters better than small ones. Vlad will knock Wilder out cold, he will beat Stiverne and Arreola along with all the others.....................

    Vlad out boxed Wilder easily in sparring, knocked Wilder down with a jab. You need to watch all his fights. Lennox Lewis held all the time, esp, against Tua...........

    Yes, he easily KOed 6'6" Ray Austin and dominated Jameel McCline too. Bigger targets are easier to hit.
