I think Ward outboxes him again even easier. Kessler is inactive and older, Ward has more experience and is likely not even in his prime yet.

First of all, Froch has a hell of a fight lined up against Johnson. He may not get passed him as I agree with Ward that it's a 50/50 fight.

That's not a knock on Froch, it's just that Glen is a difficult style for Froch. Froch is going to have to box smartly and keep Glen at the end of his jab like he did against Abraham.

The problem is that Johnson is trickier than Abraham and he's an aggressive, come foward fighter and he's going to be right in Froch's space at every opportunity he gets.

Froch is going to really have to box smartly from the outside and use his strength to tie this guy up on the inside or MOVE as soon as he gets there.

Ward though is younger than Johnson, and I think he'll find his way inside differently, but more effectively and Froch is sloppy on the inside. He doesn't put his punches together very well and that's where Ward will perserver.

The thing with Froch is his jab. He has an excellent jab.

No doubt he was a better fighter, but he should have been dq'd regardless, the amount of times he came in head first was unfukin believable, he could have won without that ****, but should have been dq'd and had a loss to his name....

The only way Froch can win is if he can land something big on Ward, if he can't he'll be outboxed. He did good against fighters with poor movement, when he fights someone that has good movement he struggles.

Froch was robbed vs Kessler. Yes it was close, but those judges robbed him with their scoring.

Why is everyone automatically assuming Froch is going to beat Johnson?

Froch beat Abraham much easier than Ward, in fact, Abraham was doing well until he stopped using his jab. That fight showed flaws in Ward. Froch will give Ward Hell. I have never seen so many low blows since Golota/Bowe fight, yes, Ward landed one low blow after another. Bute will knock Ward out, if they ever fight.
