    Because Froch annihilated AA!

Not just that, he gave AA a worse beating than Dirrell or Ward!!!!!

Oh, my, god will people get off Froch's nuts. He went from a brutal knockout waiting to happen to undefeatable force in one fight on this forum. When Ward shuts him out, like is obviously gonna happen to anyone with more than 3 brain cells, ESB will go back to calling him a talentless hype job.

Froch used his obviously apparent size advantage once in his career. OMG! Lets just put him in the hall of fame already. Carl the Caveman Froch, greatest of all time!

    Agree.

Froch is a good fighter. He has a good resume. He's cut his teeth. And he's a tough *******. But you're pretty accurate in your description of his transformation from defensively inept KO waiting to happen to boxing phenomenon overnight.

lol, what you talking about man? You actually watch boxing?
I hope the fight will be exciting and it will be a difficult fight for both fighters, i hope. Better not be a mental shut-out by Ward again....

Froch will be Ward's best challenge to date, thats for sure. But it think Froch is a bit too slow and too open to get hit by the 1-2, which i think Ward will work on.

Ward's defense is outstanding. I dont think he allows himself to get into too much trouble. He's a safetey-first fighter, he'd rather disengage and recover instead of fight through trouble....

    lol, i know

but i dont expect to see a Ward shut-out. Froch is brave enough to mix it up and take chances. Should be a UD for Ward though.

Right, don't get me wrong, I don't hate the caveman. I was one of the few who wasn't jumping at all those "Abraham will brutally KO Froch" threads, remember those? He is a tough guy, a likeable guy imo, and he's obviously not a bad fighter, but the kind of bandwagon one shutout win created is unreal. Ward worried about his health against Froch?

Hahaha. Ward is gonna asshat Froch.

Froch will be on his bike for this one fighting behind the jab because Abraham had some success behind that jab.Ward will hold and make sure Froch doesnt run and do a Mikkel Kessler on Froch.Ward wont lose this fighter, only thing is that Johnson will beat Froch so Froch wont be in the finals

If Froch beats Johnson we have a great final with 2 great fighters competing. That is what we want as boxing fans. So lets sit back and enjoy!

This is a good match up in which I feel WARD will give a good account of himself with a possible stoppage of FROCH.

Hi all, first time posting so be nice :D

Now im not a big Ward fan but the guy definately has skills. His defensive skills are very good and defensively looked Hopkinsesque against AA. He is quick and has decent punching power. Overall a technically very good boxer.

As for Froch, i like him very much, great heart, good skills/power and a tremendous chin. But he did struggle to connect on Dirrell who has simular attributes to Ward. I think he would also struggle against Ward, who like Dirrell, will not engage too much. I can see him use a simular game plan to AA. Unfortunately Froch's speed is a little too slow to stop AW from coming in and out. But i hope to be proved wrong with an exciting fight!

The one main thing that disappoints me with Ward is his insistence of fighting in his hometown. Froch gets more respect for fighting anywhere.

Froch's fight was fair though, Ward's clearly wasn't. Leading up to the fights, the Froch fight was a much bigger fight as well. Ward did not thrash Kessler either he lost 3 rounds in that fight and it was stopped before the 12th, a round Kessler always performs in.
