I am sure if young crowd watched Canelo Kirkland

    They would gain an interest in boxing. MMA/UFC is incredibly topsided with Dana White on his way to being a billionaire and their fighters getting a few thousand a fight... I think boxing promoters need to reach the 18-30 crowd somehow. If Dana White can do it anyone can IMO. Its good for the sport of boxing to have 20 year olds talking about it, as much as purists hate to be in the same room with fledgling viewers.

    Premier Boxing Championship has been able to get almost the same ratings as UFC on fox from its start averaging 3-4 million viewers.

    Seriously, if PBC can get as many ratings as UFC without cards of boxing's big names (as in mayweather, canelo, etc), take the bull by the horn and throw someone like Deontay Wilder at there and promote him to the young crowd. Boxing could be back on top.

    I definitely think the younger crowd would enjoy seeing KO's, like what we saw in the Canelo fight.
