Hearns didn't have MW experience either when he went up and fought Hagler. Didn't make it a **** fight.

    :deal

Lineal 140 vs Best 147 pounder out there. Sick fight.

Pac flirted at 154 once against Margarito and was outweighed by 20lbs (weighed in at 146 I believe). He's barely big enough for WW. Floyd has the dimensions to compete at 154 just fine, and he's fought at the limit twice and looked fine both times. He's taller with a longer reach then Canelo. There are no excuses not to make that fight if it's the right fight to be made.

They would probably have similar ring weights. Garcia might even come in heavier.

You used the belt excuse though. Pac had a belt at JMW albeit with an asterisk. Floyd would also enter the ring 15/20 pounds lighter than Canelo.

Pacquiao weighed in at 144 pounds against Margarito.

no but at 6 foot 3 with over 40 knock outs , it was considered one of the fights of the decade before it was even fought.....
let garcia at least beat some other guys at 140, he has 1 big win, Khan....

Pac has his hands full with blown up lightweights Marquez and Rios and demands they fight him at 147.

You should be avoiding this topic like a plague :yep

Can you just leave anyway? You aren't a regular poster or at least I don't think you are. And your fellow delusional Pac fans have perished in huge numbers after PacMan was tagged by a Mexican ghost. Those are at least 2 good reasons why you shouldn't be here.

  12. Garcia deserves the fight and may actually give Floyd a bit of a challenge. Nothing wrong with it. Why are you mentioning Rios?

  13. I post every day... And dont lump me in with fanboys who follow one fighter. I'm an actual honest, reasonable, and realistic fan of the sport and will still be when Pacquiao and Mayweather are retired and broadcasting.

All that being said, this thread has zero to do with Pacquiao.

I would be surprised if Mayweather took on Canelo next but I can't see it happening.
