was that his fault? no, i appluad him for doing everything in his power to make that fight entertaining for the fans. He didnt have to throw 1200 punches, so even when his opponent wouldnt push him to the limit, he pushed HIMSELF to the limit. He could have ****en coasted easy that fight until Clottey started trying something, he didnt.... he worked his ass of regardless of what clottey was doing and did everything one could expect him to do outside knock clottey out, and thats what i applaud him for.
Very well said. He did his best not only to win, but to give the fans what they want. He pressed and egged Clottey to exchanged with him, hoping for a KO which was what the fans really love to see.
Oh yeah. I wish him and his family nothing but continued and growing prosperity in the future. I don't think losing to Mayweather will change that. I don't really think beating Mayweather will change that. He is set for life and maybe even generations. As a person who likes boxing and looking at the styles? I just don't think a loss against Mayweather would be "attractive". So I agree that the only people upset would be the bettors and more importantly Bob Arum. My guess is that this fight will get made after elections.
Maybe it will be set up for real, after all these internet talks. I will be very surprised if MP does 2 or 3 more fights before he finally hangs up his gloves.
When was the last time you seen to fighters Hug before the final round began???? They were touching gloves all night on every lilttle breakup in the fight! This was no boxing war here fellas. A complete joke!!!!
This is stupid. Clottey has no power and hell, I'll even throw 1200 punches if my opponent isn't fighting back. :tired
a beast? You mean a fighter KNOWN for low punch output and hiding behind his shell for the majority of fights. Pac did his job and clottey stunk it up but pac got off 1200+ because clottey just stood there. Don't remember him throwing 1200+ against cotto because cotto actually fought back. Don't expect a punch overload like this IF floyd and pacman fight
Of course not. It will be a different strategy against PBF. The master and the student will be at the drawing board again.
Don't ever blame Pacquiao for this match. Individually, he really did a great job in this fight, its just that Clottey.......DAMN! No offense for Clottey but I won't gonna bet for you in a long while. :/
What's this, you are blaming pac for dominating an opponent who's got a solid defense? Should it be the opposite? You should blame Clottey's decision for choosing to be a punching bag, not Pacquiao. Dude seriously, obvious haters is obvious atsch
I don't get the hype with bradley here to be honest, it would be something like the cotto fight and perhaps it would end more than that. Just because he is undefeated and is on a roll doesn't mean he would give pac fits. Have you seen his fight with holt? Seriously he is the type of fighter pac would overwhelm and ktfo and people will say he's still green. and Alexander? seriously i don't see anything special with him..bradley and alexander are the type of guys that I would even favor a prime hatton to beat who is already overrated at his own right. I could only see floyd or shane beating pac, williams too but not quite sure
Not anybody can intimidate Clottey like that, He said in the interview that Pac was too fast, and that he needed to time his punches, but it was just not coming to him. Those times when he hit Pac, he hesitated to follow up simply because he was getting countered by multiple combinations. And dont believe Clottey when he said he wasnt hurt. He was blocking those shots, but i dont think he failed to guage Pac's power when it it his arms.
what do you expect from clottey?...you seen him fight cotto like that in the last 2 rounds, what more when he is faced with a monster in pac?
so now your saying clottey didnt fight the same way as against every other fighter hes fought? make your ****in mind up mate atsch
