The atmosphere is electric as the crowd eagerly awaits the historic clash between two boxing legends. In one corner stands Muhammad Ali, known for his lightning speed and sharp wit. In the opposite corner, Mike Tyson, renowned for his devastating power and aggressive style. The experienced referee, Mills Lane, stands in the center, ready to officiate the 15-round battle.

The bell rings, and the fight begins.

    ROUND 1:

Both fighters come out with fire in their eyes. Ali uses his footwork to dance around the ring, relying on his jab to keep Tyson at bay. Tyson, determined to close the distance, aggressively stalks Ali, throwing powerful hooks and uppercuts.

    ROUND 2:

Ali's speed and defensive prowess shine as he effortlessly evades Tyson's onslaught. He counters with quick combinations, landing clean shots that frustrate Tyson's attempts to connect with his devastating power punches.

    ROUND 3:

Tyson manages to corner Ali against the ropes, launching a barrage of hooks and uppercuts. Ali, showing his defensive genius, slips and ducks, minimizing the damage. Sensing an opportunity, Ali counters with a sharp right hook, momentarily stunning Tyson.

    ROUND 4:

Ali continues to outmaneuver Tyson with his speed and footwork. He taunts Tyson, using his infamous verbal jabs to distract and frustrate his opponent. Tyson, known for his explosive temper, momentarily loses focus, allowing Ali to land a series of quick combinations.

    ROUND 5:

Tyson, feeling the pressure, goes on the offensive. He lands a thunderous left hook that rattles Ali, but the resilient champion refuses to back down. Ali, regaining his composure, starts utilizing his lateral movement to frustrate Tyson's attempts to land significant blows.

    ROUND 6:

Ali's precision and accuracy are on full display as he peppers Tyson with a barrage of lightning-fast jabs and straight rights. Tyson, relentless as ever, keeps charging forward, desperate to find an opening for his power punches.

    ROUND 7-14:

The fight becomes a grueling battle of wills, with both fighters showcasing their skills and determination. Each round is a testament to their resilience and heart, as they exchange punches and strategies, leaving the crowd on the edge of their seats.

    ROUND 15:

The final round arrives with a crescendo of anticipation. Both fighters give it their all, unleashing their best punches and strategies. Ali's speed and ring intelligence continue to frustrate Tyson, who becomes increasingly desperate for a knockout.

Then, in a moment of brilliance, Ali catches Tyson off-guard with a lightning-fast combination—jab, straight right, left hook. The left hook connects with Tyson's chin, sending him crashing to the canvas.

The crowd erupts as the referee begins the count. Tyson struggles to rise, but the knockout blow has left him disoriented and unable to beat the count.

Mills Lane reaches the count of ten and waves his arms, declaring Muhammad Ali the winner by knockout!

The crowd explodes with applause and cheers, witnessing a historic victory by one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Just don't put the Rope A Dope Muhammad Ali in there with Mike Tyson because it might be Ali who gets doped, Tyson is not George Foreman of 1974.

Tyson never sees the 15th round against a prime Ali, once Tyson's offensive assault doesn't produce the desired results he'll be on the receiving end of combos and straight rights that stop him anywhere from the 10th to 12th round.

It might seem facile but I'm sure a relatively intact Ali would come up with the appropriate strategy .

No, In March 1973 Muhammad Ali got his jaw busted by Ken Norton, he was Gordito, his legs had left him back in March 1967, the Folley title bout. No, Mike Tyson of 1988 would have broken Ali's arms plus refractured his jaw in 1974. I have seen Ali fight live from 1965 until he retired. Ali to me is the greatest but I am also an honest fan.

No lie. Ali would be the dope. Too much of a good thing isn't good, he overused the Rope A Dope, it started to become boring in his second reign as champion.

The Rope A Dope was a brillant strategy for one night - a perfect one in fact, but once Muhammad started to use it in fights against guys whom it was unnecessary to employ it against,it did become rather wearing to watch. Especially when he was giving points away doing it.

Muhammad would n't have used it against the likes of Tyson. He'd have dominated Tyson with movement and holding ring centre.

Look to Ali boxing off the jab and pivot against Liston, when he stops bouncing around the ring and takes away Liston's jab with more subtle head movement and better use of angles.

Ali of 67 beats Tyson for me, but never, never is it going to be an easy night. Tyson is the worst physical style for a complacent Ali to face and in many ways, Ali's mentality, ability and fight psychology gives Tyson challenges that no Ali imitator can replicate.

This match up would be closer than people often acknowledge.
