On my record, you'll find wins against 8 men from BoxRec's list of world champions.
4 of these men held world titles in one division - and only in that division.
The other 4 held world titles in another division - and only in that division.

    Who am I?

    Edit Clue:
This year our man may be adding a 9th world champion to his list of victims...
It's not likely to happen - but it could!

Yes, that is true... but Holyfield beat several other world champs. We're looking for someone who beat 8 (no more, no less)... 4 from one division and 4 from another.

Marshall beat the following world champions:
    Brouillard (W/M)
    Yarosz (M)
    LaMotta (M)
    Risko (M)
    Overlin (M)
    Christoforidis (LH)
    Mills (LH)
    Maxim (LH)
    Charles (H)

That's 9 champs from 4 different divisions - and Brouillard was a 2-division champion. So, for several reasons, Marshall can't be our man.

This, apparently, isn't an easy question - so I have added a clue.

Well, we can right away see, that since Barrera is listed in both the divisions... then Morales can't be the one we're looking for.

The man we want beat a total of 8 world champions, who held world crowns in a total of 2 divisions... and all 8 were one-division champs (4 in one division and 4 in another)

Yes, hh... Brian Nielsen it is:good

    At heavyweight he beat:
    Holmes
    Witherspoon
    Smith
    Tubbs

    ... and at cruiserweight:
    Grant
    Norris
    De Leon
    Lampkin

On March 5, after almost 9 years out of the ring, he makes a comeback against Evander Holyfield, who could be the 9th world champ on the Dane's victim-list... although a win for Nielsen is highly unlikely, I think.
