    does anyone know what showtimes feelings were towards a potential dawson-diaconu showdown?

    I'm glad Dawson is not wasting his time on Diaconu. He has beaten way better fighters in Adamek and Johnson.

    Diaconu is so overrated, it's crazy. He is slow, has bad stamina and overrated power. Even Henry who is nowhere near the top 10 nearly beat him (and maybe would have, had the fight not taken place in Romania)

    WHY because Diaconu is a country men of YOURS, You know how this sport works man, What would you do if you were Dawson fight Diaconu or tarver, One never been on the Big 2 USA tv networks or the other probobly had 20 fights on them beaten all time great fighters and couple of other world champions as well. I know it a real hard one for Dawson and Gary Shaw to pick.:patsch :patsch

    100% uninterested, as far as I know, because who the **** is Diaconu? And why the **** should Dawson have to travel to the Sub-Saharan Banana Republic of Romania to fight that midget, even for a career high purse of over $1m?

    The fight would have been shown on Don King's Internet/TV thing, though, so anyone with an internet connection could have seen it live.

    It's hype when you say he would beat Dawson on points,it's not hype when you say he was ducked.And Henry is a top 10 guy btw and Diaconu won that fight

    That's right! Because he's a countryman of mine I take a special interest in this thing. And I tell it as it is, just like Shaw and Dawson tell it as it is, according to them. What's the problem? You agree with them, fine! You're just not going to convince me!

    Why couldn't Dawson dispatch Diaconu and THEN fight Tarver on Showtime in a unification fight, having proven he can take pressure (against Johnson) AND having proven his chin (against Diaconu)? Huh? You tell me!

    Diaconu might be much worse than Adamek and Johnson, but he punches harder and he's a more dangerous puncher, because of his style. Given there are questions over Dawson's chin and given he's never fought a really big puncher, this fight woud have made sense at this stage of Dawson's career.

    :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: When has boxing ever been fair, **** hell man and you were right with **** the romiania guy stuff, I tell you right now nobody around Dawson or Shaw or Showtime give to **** about Diaconu right now, so a boxer has has to be honest, since when, he played by the rules and was stripped of the title.

    They can't tell you Decebal..because they lack the knowledge pertaining to the topic either that or they know and they don't care, which is abit more disturbing. Fact is Diaconu is just too dangerous for Dawson hence him going and chasing after a fight with Blevel champion that was never much above mediocre

    Right, so the world is unfair, so I should just smile and wave back, right? No! I am going to say my piece, much as it bores or annoys seemingly everyone here! And if saying my piece will make people love and respect Dawson and his promoter even more, very well and good luck to everyone involved! Why am I not allowed to vent my frustration? Just because the world is unfair? Come on!

    One thing is to do an unfair thing (which Dawson and Shaw did) and one thing is to lie about it time after time, as they are doing now and even expect praise for the dirty they've done, don't you agree?

    You've done the dirty, don't ****ing lie about having not ducked anyone all the time and don't ****ing demand praise for having done it!! Just STFU about it and get on with your fight against Tarver!
