Good fight. Not confident in picking either but I feel Lara won't do enough if they get in a close fight as did Trout. His style is smoother than Trout's and I see him having a bit more success.
I would love to see the fight. I am a big fan of both. I would lean towards Lara to win the fight. People tend to underestimate his skills. People also underrate Canelo's ability.
Lara is no Rigo. And he doesn't seem to have much heart. Freddy Hernandez was giving him the business and making him resort to dirty tactics. He brought the whole arsenal of dirty tactics against Vanes. Angulo has been working with Virgil Hunter, who trains Ward, a master in the clinch. Don't expect Lara to be able to handle Angulo in the clinch like Division 1 wrestler, Cintron did. And with Lara's stamina problem, the last person you want to be in the ring with is a beast like Angulo who will eat Lara's punches without blinking.
As I said before, I appreciate Cuban boxers, but Lara's currently one of the most overrated fighters in the game today. What did he do to make anyone think he schools Alvarez? Could it have been that scintillating performance against Molina, or that "masterclass" against Vanes? But somehow, he schools Canelo. Makes sense. R U a wizard??
Same thing was said about Trout and Trout didn't school ****. Lara would be more difficult though, and he's dirty as ****, interesting fight for sure. Hope it gets made.
Lara is good, but he couldn't hurt Vanes or even a shot Williams much less knock them out. Canelo fought scary good and only 22. If he could beat Trout he could beat Lara.
