I believe Lara schoooools Canelo!

This is an interesting fight because unlike Trout, Lara doesn't throw many punches. His output is pretty low. So it would be interesting to see if Canelo would decide to be more aggressive or try to box again. One things is for sure, Lara is going to hold like crazy. Also, Lara doesn't hit hard and has a suspect chin. Interesting fight.

 

I don't know if he will totally schools him, but I do think Lara has the tools to beat him. Canelo has a punchers chance, but he won't outbox Lara. It will never happen. Now that Canelo has 2 titles he would gladly vacate one to have a bigger money fight.

 

Suspect chin? I also hear this stamina issue stuff. Please explain. He has never been knocked off his feet.

 

That's why it's suspect ha. How do you know, how well he takes a punch? As he been hit flush before? I don't know about stamina, but his output is low. He just doesn't throw many punches.

 

I never got that argument. Point in boxing is to beat your opponent with effectively landed punches. Obviously punches will be landed on you in return but people talk about fighters' chins like they're suppose to be tested. Not important just get the wins.

 

Well P. Williams landed a few good left hands on him and he walked right through them as if they didn't land. Grady Brewer landed 2 very hard right hands and Lara simply came back with a crisp combination. Keep in mind P. Williams dropped S. Martinez with the same punch and Brewer knocked Fernando Guerrero out with the same punch. Suspect is not the word to use when it comes to his chin. On another note, Rigondeaux was said to have a suspect chin. I guess Donaire can't punch now.

Canelo beats him and after he does, many of the same people backing Lara will be saying Lara wasn't that good in the first place...Just like they're doing with Trout. :deal

 

I love Lara but he looked less than stellar against Martirosyan. Stylistically, he would pose a lot of problems for Canelo but even if he wins, it wouldn't be a schooling. As of right now I can't call this fight.

 

Lara will beat Canelo and take him to school..Lara was the captain of the cuban amateur boxing team..I saw him fighting more than 50 times..he will outbox everybody who they put in front of him..even Mayweather..but GB won't risq anybody in a fight with Lara..they will make him fight 91 eliminators to then fight in many years with Canelos unborn son..

 

i didnt see any offensive faults on saturday, i saw superb execution.

 

GBP is already taking care of Lara.

They are putting him in with Angulo. That means no more Lara.
