I believe PBF is hurting himself by coming back on PPV vs. Marquez!

MHO, PBF thought that by picking Marquez for his return fight would earn him the leverage needed for the Pac fight in the future but I have this feeling is going to backfire on him.

 

Maybe u don read well, but I said "a fighter on Pacs level in there prime", in no way, shape or form has Hatton ever brought the same level of difficulty as Pacman, if u think otherwise, then I don't know what to tell u....

and at Reg....the money is defintaly right, even if Pac got the bigger purse, but he must know like I know that he can't beat Pac, so he won't take the fight

Which is all I'm gonna say, time will prove me right, so just wait and you'll see...if Pac beats Cotto, Floyd will "retire" (for the 3rd time) or find som1 else to fight, he will not fight Pac

 

pbf can do what he wants, he will get more money then jmm and and pac.

 

id rather see floyd on regular HBO as well but PPV will be fine I suppose!

 

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Personally, I think that is't absurd to say Floyd can't beat Pac. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to find out.

 

Floyd Mayweather is fighting Marquez becuase when he beats him, he will demand the bigger piece of the pot for Mayweather-Pacquiao, because right now he doesn't make a good argument as to why he should be the higher paid fighter if Manny dominated De La Hoya and Hatton better than Floyd did. Beating Marquez gives him a reason and confidence because Marquez gave Manny two fights of his life.

He might be the best but he's not the most popular even Margarito was a much bigger name than Marquez in mexico and probably still is even after what happened. I think it will be a good fight because beating JMM isn't going to be easy like floyd thinks so there's a chance for an upset but it won't sell that much.

 

Pac-Cotto is not gonna happen because Clottey is gonna win. and your saying Mayweather hasnt fought nobody of Pacmans level but you just said Pac is the best of this ERA, so how can Mayweather fight anybody like Pac????

 

Then why don't you mention that Floyd is not the same fighter as Pacquiao. He does not come forward a lot, he's defensive minded not offensive like Pacquaio.

Also you don't point out that Pacquaio beat both after Floyd beat them as well.

 

For some reason that seems to be missing from most people statements here.

 

i'm buying it because its an intriguing matchup of styles. You won't see a display of boxing skills from two fighters ever in the same ring.
