    The only way to know for sure is for them to get into the ring. Unfortunatlly we will probably never know.

    Floyd Mayweather is not stupid, and i think he will fight in the pocket James "Lights Out" Toney style.

    That is the only way he can win the fight..

    I am 50/50...

    I don't know who the winner would be..

    He could easily be beaten into submission just like Cotto...

    i dont understand why anybody who says he loves boxing can dislike floyds style.... i believe its "the sweet science" on the highest level......what he does in the ring is art to me..... No doubt margos win over cotto was fight of the year.... outstanding fight.... and no doubt that margo has the likeable mexican andrade personality...he is a wonderful guy and deserves everything he now has.... i must admit that i thought cotto would take it UD, but the gameplan was not the one..... Anyway..... Floyd would make margo chase him all night while outpointing him every single round....he might place himself in the pocket a few times just to show his superior skills.....

    He'd win...but he'd be in for a fairly difficult fight. Not technically or tatically, but in the sense that Marg would be on him. He'll easily "OUTBOX" marg, but if Marg get a chance to catch him on the ropes, sure enough he will. But yes...Floyd by UD.

    I believe we saw enough in the first 5 rounds to safely state that Margarito would be chasing Floyd all night.

    Cotto had to use a style that wasn't as natural to him as it is to Floyd.

    I do believe Cotto would give him a much tougher fight...styles make fights and Margarito is perfect for Floyd regardless of what he done to Cotto.

    I disagree with you. Staying in the pocket isn't THE ONLY way he could win the fight. I think Mayweather could win this by fighting off his back foot the entire fight. He is much faster than Cotto, who had enough speed to outbox Margo for the first half the fight......
