Bernard Hopkins said that he was going to expose Joe Calzaghe..make him look like a amateur.

And at times, for long periods of times..Bernard Hopkins did make Joe Calzaghe look amateur. He was being tied up, missing, and them little pitter patter shots where no really hurting anybody.

I have had time to think..and basically Joe Calzaghes work rate won him this fight. Technically the better boxer was Bernard Hopkins, he was the only fighter during the fight to land really hurtful shots.

I just cannot ignore the fact that, Bernard Hopkins floored Joe Calzaghe in round one. With a straight right hand...

"What would of happened if that was a laser like right hand from Roy Jones.."

    I will tell you what..

"He would of been hurt much more..plus Roy Jones would of followed up"

"Even still today, there is no fighter in the world that can throw combinations like Roy Jones Junior..with power between each punch..."

I don't think Joe Calzaghe hits that hard at light heavyweight..and when he stands square on throwing a thousand, slap shots.

"Boom, all it takes it one upper cut..one straight right hand from Roy Jones..and i seriously believe it will be all over"

A 43 year old boxer called Bernard Hopkins, did expose some technical flaws in Joe Calzaghe..

"And i don't think Joe Calzaghe can take..Roy Jone's power..and finish the fight.."

Maybe this was meant to be for Roy Jones Junior...the greatest comeback since Ray Robinson..

    He can do it..

Roy Jones didn't knockout Felix Trinidad, a welterweight, with only one shot, so this makes your prediction of him doing that against a now LHW with a granite chin somewhat unlikely

    But whatever...

Not 39/40 year old gun-shy Roy. No chance.

Calzaghe would probably earn a UD due to low work-rate and reluctance to put in combo's from Roy.

I don't think Calzaghe has a "granite" chin. A solid one, sure. But granite? I suppose it depends on your definition.

    Jones can't KO him, nonetheless.

    Workrate this...workrate that...

Bernard Hopkins had a low workrate look how close he pushed Joe Calzaghe...

"Oh he also knocked him down aswell"

    Roy Jones Junior..

    Can knock out Joe Calzaghe...

    5 years ago, I'd agree.

    Perhaps between 8-10.

Come on, let's not pretend Roy doesn't have knockout power. Every time he threw something he hurt trinidad and had him down twice. If Roy ever landed a leaping left hook the fashion of Jones-Griffin II, I highly doubt calzaghe would survive.

The only negative in Jones' column at this stage in his career is his stamina.

Wishful thinking. Jones is clearly shot, he barely throws 10 punches a round. His defence is simply to cover up. Joe C. will beat Jones easy at his point.

I really dont understand your thinking at all.
Even though I have total respect for RJJr and I would love to see him fight Joe it will be Calzaghe with out a shadow of doubt.

RJJr is calzaghes type of fighter. I dont think people get it yet joe is the best and against RJJr he would definitively show why he is the best.

RJJr would bring out the best in Joe.

Roy threw almost 500 punches against tito. That's a lot more than 10 a round.

Joe Calzaghe is getting his ass knocked out...

He was floored by Bernard Hopkins..

At times in the fight, Bernard Hopkins was the stronger when they traded punches inside.

"When Bernard Hopkins fired back...the assault from Joe Calzaghe would stop"

I honestly believe it will be game over...when Joe Calzaghe steps in the ring with Roy Jones.

Bernard Hopkins opened my eye's to technical flaws.

    Joe Calzaghes's workrate saved him...

Roy ducked Joe for years, and now at his age Roy is shot. Joe would KO him in 6.

How could Roy Jones duck somebody..

"With a WBO belt who is fighting at Super Middle"

"When Roy Jones was the Undistuped Light Heavyweight Champion.."

Roy Jones was'nt ducking him, he did'nt need to duck..because he could'nt even see Joe Calzaghe..

It is well known that Roy ducked Joe, Roy build a career on ducking people.
