I believe that Vitali is clearly superior to Wladimir...

Vitali has had a great streak of wins, including JC Gomez, Peter, and the US prospect/contenders Johnson and Arreola and does so in such dominating fashion. While Wlad may have better technique, Vitali isnt far behind while being sturdier, more aggressive, and better poise. What says you?

Vitali has a good chin wlad doesn't yes Vitali is better solely because of that imo.

Vitali is more unconventional but he is also more versatile. He can lead or choose to counter. He can slug with you or out jab you. He can go to war or take you to school. He can dip and dodge, make you miss and make you pay. He can rough you up and make you quit.

    Vitali is better.

But now that Vitali is getting old, they are almost equal

Vitali is better because of the chin

And chin matters.looking at skills they are similar

The better boxer is Wladimir, the better fighter is Vitali.

Stylistically, Wladimir is a better fit for Vitali than vice versa, Vitali could stop him on accumulative damage and sheer determination.

if you take away the chin, which isn't that bad for Wlad i think he is better overall. both are impressive no matter what.

As said by Mr. Magic, Wlad's the better boxer and Vitali's the better fighter. P4P, I would have almost no reservations in picking Vitali over Wlad. Vitali has a proven good chin, in taking some of the same bombs from Corey Sanders, and not falling all over the place like his brother. Wlad is great when his oppenent doesn't fire back, but looks terrible when the going gets tough. I have always said, Wlad's skills are top 5 ATG all the way, but his lack of mental toughness will always lead me to believe alot of the top heavyweights of all time would find a way to expose Wlad over a 12 or 15 round fight.

Vitali´s defense skills are better than Wlad´s. Vitali is more relaxed and is able too keep his cool, while Wlad´s defense is basically his height, footwork and clinching. That´s effective, but in my opinion the clinching is boarderline illigeal and unfair and should be penealized sometimes.
Wlad is quicker and more explosive, so I guess he got more one punch power, if he throws the punch full force.
Vitali´s workrate might be a bit higher, but they both have good stamina.
I bet my money on Vitali (when he is at his best), because as already mentioned he is the better fighter, while Wlad is the better boxer.

wlad is the better technician but his chin lets him down, vitali is an excellent fighter though and his chin is A*

if they were to seriously fight, either wlad gets a decision, or vitali gets a late stoppage; i would bet on the wlad decision with his safety 1st style

Wlad is by far the better of the two. Both in accomplishments and in Skill/Punching abilities.

I don't think one is better than the other. They fight very differently and have different strengths and weaknesses.

I disagree. Vitali does not do well against slick boxers. For years Klitshcko fans claimed he dominated the fight with Chirs Byrd before the injury. I invite you to rewatch that fight. I did a few months ago and I was surprised by what I saw. Vitali did not look good in that fight at all. Sure, he might have been winning at the time, but it wasn't by much...And I am a fan.
