Good for you for thinking with your brain and not your heart most of these guys in here wanted Kovalev to lose because of that charge he recently got. This is boxing you fight . This isn't a moral competition. Unfortunately many on this forum see it that way
well done. good win. i predicted krusher points in a few threads, but eventually went with alvarez late ko. so id of been 100down.
I don't overly like Kovalev I knew with Mcgirt the plan wouldn't be to get the ko since if kovalev tried he'd only get stopped. this fight was either going to be Kovalev by decision or Alvarez stoppage. I almost wish I put money on the UD but I thought it would be a touch closer.
I'm impressed by Kovalev. Six pack Ab Kovalev 2.0 This Kovalev would've done better against Ward. Kovalev maybe should've taken a hiatus from boxing. Mentally Kovalev seemed wrong. Maybe too much overly confidence or aggression. Others noted it, great to see Kovalev humbled & then correct his wrongs.

seems like he was doing just about everything wrong around that time,calling out with his coach,drinking and not putting in the work,imo he took that loss in the Ward first fight very hard and I understand it as he tried to put on a boxing clinic and did and such is the corruption they have it to the man who even looked like hed lost.
