Adamek went in there tonight and fought an opponent who enjoyed a 5 or 6 inch height advantage, a 10 inch reach advantage, and a 50 pound weight advantage. He won the fight 118-110. Anyone who had it closer than that was overly influenced by Bob Sheridan acting like the annoying ****-wit he always is. People need to stop trying to claim there was anything wrong with Adamek's performance.

David Haye faced a similarly daunting task when he fought The Russian Giant. Haye had a closer fight with Valuev than Adamek had with Grant, but he was up against a better fighter.

Adamek/Haye is the most compelling heavyweight fight that could be made right now. A close and hard fought trilogy might even breathe new life into an otherwise dull and boring division.

Both fighters are former cruiserweight world titlists, and at one time or another both were regarded as the best guy in that division. Both are now regarded as legitimate heavyweight contenders. Each has his own set of stengths and weaknesses. This ain't no walk down primrose lane for either boxer. I hope it happens.

I'd take that fight in a heartbeat! That's a hell of a treat for the fans.

While I think some things from tonight don't project well towards Adamek fighting the Klitschko's, let's not forget that Haye's a different ball game both style and size-wise. Adamek-Haye would be a fight that neither man should take any **** for should it happen!

It takes a semi iffy performance for Haye to come out of hiding.

Clearly someone who IS NOT willing to put himself out there.

I think its similar to Arreolas fight in this way. At first i thought it had been a close fight but when i rewatched it i realised it was a wide UD for Adamek. I guess Grants fight needs rewatching too.

Haye took 8 or whatever rounds to stop a 38 year old Ruiz. He had to put down a 38 year old Barrett multiple times over 5 rounds to get the stoppage.

I don't see Haye stopping Adamek in 2 rounds. Maybe in the later rounds but Haye will be much more tentative and careful against Adamek than he was against older, over-the-hill guys that pose little danger like Barrett and Ruiz.

I forgot how much of a dumbass you are. Even though I agree that Adamek would win, those past fights have nothing to do with a fight between the two.

Haye would probably run for 11.5 rounds while throwing a mere 140 punches throughout the fight. Most of which too wide, and he'd be running away before they could land.
