If Haye come's into the fight like he did against Ruiz he'll get a shock. Ruiz was landing allsort's on Haye, if Ruiz had of hit a bit harder he'd of had Haye in real trouble. We know Adamek is'nt the hardest hitter at Heavy, but if he caught Haye with the same shot's Ruiz did, he'd have Haye in trouble. Everybody assumes Haye is this power puncher because he has a good KO ratio at Cruiser. Since coming to heavyweight, he's not really proved he has this "amazing" KO power people are saying. It took numerous knockdowns to stop Barrett and Ruiz. Anyhow why is this being discussed, we all pretty much know he's fighting Harrison next
:deal True. And these were 38 year old, way over-the-hill versions of the respective fighters as well. Adamek is younger, more hungry and on his way up in the division rather than on his way out. At HW Haye prefers guys who pose little risk and are on their way out. Harrison would fit the bill perfectly although I wouldn't mind seeing Haye - Adamek in November.
Adamek v Haye on HBO next makes so much sense for all concerned. I like Adamek a lot but he is limited. A product of hard work and commitment rather than talent. Haye destroys him though. He's perfect for a counterpuncher leaping in like that trying to get his punches off.
Thompson was a 198lb cruiserweight. Are you sure you are not thinking of Lolenga Mock? Haye was down but he stopped him in 4 rounds.
Every fight including 2 fighters of these Wladimir/Vitali/Haye/Adamek would be awesome. Haye-Adamek fight would have also additional spice, as both were reigning cruiserweights champions not long time ago.
