Well I'm f'n made up!

One of my fave active fighters and all-round sound guy Pascal beats the supposedly all-conquering Dawson, whose mentality has been shown up (supposedly I ain't seen it yet) and been outpunched.

Can't wait to watch this fight this afty, WAR PASCAL!!!

 

Flea, it's a good fight. I was similarly unconvinced by Dawson. I can't think of a fight where he's looked good and in command all the way through.

 

I thought he was good, but not awe-inspiring. Hopefully this fight will cause him to make some changes, talented fighters in competitive fighters is what we want to see.

Flea (steaming): I reckon you could be too busy for Dawson, you should fight him!

Respect to Jean Pascal, he deserves it, such a nice guy. Just watched the fight and he aced it. Dawson disgraced himself with his post fight comments IMO. Some great fights out there for JP now, he's really proven he's top class.

HBO are really desperate for a fighter (American really) that will capture the publics attention and can dominate their division. They've really been unlucky so far and it seems like everytime they put their weight behind a fighter he either end in disappointment, or never really seems to spark much interest in the first place.

Dawson falls into the latter category IMO, losing this fight might if anything be a good thing if it ended up with him livening up a bit.

I'd agree with that...its not a disaster, he hasn't gone and lost to some journeyman, Pascal is a very decent fighter

Decent fight. I had it 107-104 to Pascal at the time of the stoppage. Dawson looked like he had plenty of energy left while Pascal was getting hit with big shots. Rematch will be even better. I expect Chad to either get knocked out or win a clear points decision

 

I desperately want ot see this fight...i'm downloading the torrent but everyone seems to have dived on it and its taking an age to download...in fact i'm uploading 3 times as much as downloading....COME ON YOU ****ER, WORK!!!!!!!
