What kind of a moron would actually pay these guys for an advertisement on their show? I actually emailed them a while ago to see details about advertising on the show and look at the bull**** they wrote:



Hi,

Our rates vary. We get between 50 and 60 thousand viewers a month, always slightly rising. And our videos have yet to ever be taken down, so an ad placed with us will last you a lot longer than with others, obviously.

For a banner on the top or bottom of our video, to be displayed during entire episodes, it is $400/month. For a fullpage banner displayed at the front or rear of the the show (before end credits), it is $300/month.

If you'd like a video plug/endorsement, let me know, we'll arrange something. I can do 5-30 second commercials and I can provide voice over work, even script a commercial for you to air during episodes. Prices vary here due to what you'd want to spend on a commercial. I'll offer you this free advice, in commercials, you want to target one to three messages, depending on commercial length (5 sec, do one message, etc). If you did a 30 second commercial, I'd say the three messages you'd want to tell viewers are web domain and two features of your company. Avoid trying to make "cute" commercials like funny superbowl ads. Thousands of "cute" commercials get attempted each year but only a handful get remembered, and often people don't remember the product.

So far, our advertisers have provided their own ads. I can create ads for you for an additonal fee. Tell me if you need specs for creating your ads, I don't have the figures in front of me. A full page ad is 320x240, I know that.

If you already have advertising up, I would like to see what banners/graphics you already have so I could try streamlining that as much as possible. I try with advertisers (I've done this besides just online) to build upon advertising you already have to compliment it. I've found this helps you establish your brand better.

Unlike most, I actually care and want your advertising dollars to help to increase your business. I hate how many in advertising now are content to screw people over, make lazy, ineffective campaigns, and keep a client for a month before moving to the next one. I'm often blunt with my opinions on ads and such, I'll be honest with you, brutally honest, but it is to help you succeed. The final product of your ad is ultimately up to you. If you feel my ideas are not as good as your ideas, I respect that and will use/design your ads the way you want them.
