Anyone who has read my previous posts/threads will know I have rate Mayweather the best p4p since he returned to boxing. After last night's fight, I bow my head and accept that Pacman is, by a country mile, the best p4p fighter on our planet. In this form, I truly believe he would stop floyd. I truly believe he would stop anyone! This isn't saying I'm a floyd hater, I still rate him very highly. I now rate Pacman even higher.
I've doubted Pac in the past and even though I'm a fan I was reluctant to give him too much credit with the DLH and Hatton victories. Last night however cemented in my mind what an absolute living legend he is. Taking on a prime Cotto and destroying him, man, I never thought I would see it. The last question mark I had with Pac was whether he could take a WW punch - clearly he can. As to whether he would beat Floyd, I just dont know. I actually think it wont make a hugely entertaining fight (other than the excitement of there being a winner) because of Floyd's defensive style. I hope I am wrong though.
I too doubted him after the Hatton victory. The truth was he was too good in that fight. Just when Hatton started havin success Pac knocked him out. A 10 round war would have answered more questions early. But now he's shown he can stand toe to toe with anyone and come out on top.
