I can already see the naysayers discrediting Golovkin's victory over Lemieux

Do you really care what Ward's 5 fans think?

As one of those 5 fans (who knew there were that many of us) I will give him as much credit as is due. Lemieux is a dangerous fight not because he's that good but because he has a style with all the power and speed that could see Golovkin get chin checked.

    Golovkin should destroy Lemieux.

But it's a credit worthy victory.

I think his status as champion in waiting is a bit false though. The winner of Cotto-Canelo is realistically a 50/50 fight with Golovkin.

Lemieux is coming off a very good win over N'Dam. It's a unification and a good win ffs.

Of course some will but most will appreciate it as an impressive win against a very live opponent. Be good to see how Canelo gets on with GGG after taking out Cotto.

Of course, haters gonna hate. GGG's haters will always find a reason to **** on him, regardless of what he does. Even if he did move up to 168 and fight Ward next, the haters would say that Ward was rusty from the layoff, and why didn't GGG fight him when he was active.

This is a scary fight for GGG. He is definitely the favourite but Lemieux hits so hard and GGG has taken his fair share of big shots.

This is GGG's most dangerous foe. But in my opinion David is not as versatile. He has a bag of offensive weapons and an abundance of firepower but Lemieux has a much more basic delivery system than that of Golovkin. Not that it's not effective....David has a style that highlights his natural attributes and tendencies as a fighter. I just think Gennady will have greater impact delivering his offensive ****nal than David. Both have power....both punch without hesitation but their styles are different. Styles make fights and durability is going to be a factor as well. I see this being a short night but will provide plenty of action up until one man succumbs to the other man's power.

The odds will tell the story but I can't see a big favourite being made.

Ndam is a good fighter. Lemieux had him up and down like a fiddlers elbow

The loser could fight the loser of Canelo-Cotto. It also depends if their not too battered or damaged goods. Thing about Ggg he doesn't just knock you out, he does have one punch ko power, but mostly prefers to wear you down, which can be worse cuz mentally you start to doubt yourself and your abilities. Similar like most of Floyd's opponents, he makes them doubt themselves, only with alot less pain involved.
