I can never decide who to rank higher between Chavez and Jones Jr

Some days I think Julio Cesar Chavez (Sr) deserves to be ranked higher than Roy Jones Jr in terms of all-time pound-for-pound career greatness,

and other days I believe Roy should be above JCC.

I'd really appreciate it if you could say who you have higher, and EXPLAIN YOUR REASONS WHY!

Look forward to reading the responses :bbb

Jones Jr. by a large margin. When Jones was in his prime, he was a H2H nightmare. He was more dominant at a wider range of weight, and he dominated in his biggest fights. His performances after Ruiz and the lack of Michaelzewski really hurt him, but up until that point he was incredible.

Chavez on the other hand had some scratchy performances, especially Taylor I and Whitaker.

Then again he did have hopkins wining by 4 clear rounds against Calzaghe so this doesnt seem to surprise me in all honesty.

I wouldn't expect 12 year old gimps like Spud to understand the value of Chavez's career, but hopefully some more knowledgable posters will appear soon.

Damn son, you started this thread time ago. The fact that you are hoping for an insightful poster to come shows that you know how much of an idiot you are.

Chavez is a tough rugged fighter but Jones is a once in a 75 -100 year fighter they dont make them like that often.

Like i said i didnt expect much more from you by now.

Jones is such an overrated fighter on here. The guy didnt really have the greatest opposition in his resume.

Jones greatest victory is probably a green Hopkins. He wasnt as developed as he has become with age. I always thought Hopkins would beat Roy in a rematch. Well i guess he did but i mean prime for prime.

Chavez, he was as dominant as Jones was over better opponents than Jones faced.

its chavez by a clear margin. even when chavez was shot to ****, he was still beating the **** out of meldrick taylor and getting a draw with whittiker.

on the other hand, roy jones
    - is a proven banned anabolic steroid taker
    - has a disgracefull glass jaw
    - had no heart
    - folded like a pack of cards when he faced adversity
    - never beat a unified or lineal champion
    - was a serial ducker and spent his prime fighting roadsweepers and sanitation workers
