What win on Mayweather's record is as good as beating a close to if not prime Toney? My goodness Mayweather is so overrated and this is coming from a fan.

Roy by a wide margin. The reasons are explained here in previous posts.

Chill out you ****ing ****flap. Hopkins edged more rounds with his superior accuracy.

And as I've said, serious boxing historians would rank Chavez and Jones very closely.

And that's why you don't, because you're not a serious boxing fan, you're a General Forum teenage gimp with no knowledge. :good

I have Jones higher on my list but the subjective nature of these lists, well, I can certainly see how it would be the opposite for someone else. I consider them on the same "tier" as different a specimen of fighter as they are. This is a whatever you go for issue, to me.

Their resumes are of a similar standard, their achievements are of a similar standard, and at their absolute peaks (Jones@168 94-96, Chavez@135 mid-late 80s) they were of a similar quality level as I see it, though I'd probably give Jones the edge because his fighting prime was longer (RJJ was pretty much prime for an entire ten-year period 1993-2003).

Did Chavez Sr. duck all his biggest competition and fight off duty cops, bartenders, and sanitation workers for a 5 year stretch? Did Chavez have a disgraceful Glass Jaw? Did he handpick opponents his entire career?

    Yes.
He ducked immediate rematches that should of happened.

even worse, he fought cab drivers and Tamale street vendors

No but atleast Roy never quit in a fight, Chavez did several times.
    Disgraceful glass heart.

Why would he? all he had to do was stay on his feet until the decsion and the judges would give it to him
