I can no longer listen to Dela Hoya's bs anymore....

    i was watching one of his interviews where he was discussing his fight with manny pacquiao.
    the way he talks sounds so fake and so scripted. he tries to sugar coat every ****ing answer.
    the interviewer asked him how we would like to be remembered, he replied "for fighting champions and never avoiding them" **** you oscar. if you want a fight a champion fight someone who is in the same weight class as you.
    he also talked about how the fight with manny pacquiao is going to be a war and that both fighters will be hurt.

    a legendary boxer becomes a disgrace to the sport.

    I just dont like how he tries to talk all nice. He talks like he and everyone listening are nice little kids. I get tired of that fake persona, thats why I and lots of others that know about Oscar were thrilled when Mayweather was making fun of him & exposing his past.

    Because he is well and truly past it, and Pac is stupid enough to engage in an exhibition fight in exchange for a large sum of money. The guy has had a **** ton of hard fights and no one can question his balls, the guy fought prime Hopkins, that was about as dangerous a fight a welterweight/JR middle could take.

    That's an easy question to answer. And it's the same reason why PBF didn't fight Margarito. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    I have an uncle who is a pharmacist in New Jersey. I'd be willing to bet that HE is more popular than Antonio Margarito.

    The royalties from the "Dream Match" commemorative cigarette lighters will bring in more money than a DLH/Margo fight would.

    I'm not saying that Margarito is not a valid opponent. He's a scary fighter and a major league tough guy, but there are MILLION$ of rea$on$ not to fight him.

    there's another thread picking on pacquiao for wanting to beat up on a faded dela Hoya. in this thread, people actually wants dela hoya to face margarito. lol

    Why do you want him to fight Margarito? You think he can win this late in his career? Fighting Pac balances their advantages and disadvantages. But fighting Margarito will not mean anything, because he will surely lose.:hey

    C'mom you may like or dislike him but saying he is a fake is completly untrue his resume speak by itself the reason Pac and Freddy called him is because his age and chance to make lot's of money a young Oscar will be a mismatch vs Pac.

    Most non traditional boxing fans bought it to see what all the hype about Cotto was. They were looking for someone to jump in the fore front cause PBF retired, and this was the guy everybody said he was ducking. Margo won and that was his springboard now he needs to beat Shane Mosley for him to really have a name to demand a fight from Oscar.


    I'm with the other guy sayin that anybody is more marketable than Margo. If he learns to speak english and I mean this in a very nice way then American audiences can market him a little better.

    It doesn't even have to be great.....They can still use subtitles lol.

    I hope Pac crushes DLH!!!!!
