I can see past prime Krusher Kovalev

I remember when the same thing was said about Ismail Sillakh when he was touted as the next best thing, the slick black Russian. Kovalev destroyed him with ease.

I'm hoping the Kovalev that beat Cleverly, Sillakh, Pascal shows up and not this weaker version. It would make the blunt point weight classes exist for a reason and Canelo has no business at 175, which he will vacate from if he beats Kovalev. Canelo will not stick around for Bieterbiev or any of the big, young light heavyweights. That's why Kovalev needs to show his former self to make that point and stop this cherry picking nonsense.
