I can see PBF taking Hearn's flickering jabs away. Would be a close decision fight.

There is no blueprint on how to beat PBF. I don't see why people are going "Oh Hearns is going to murder him." Everyone was saying how ODLH and Hatton would win, PBF always rises up to the occasion. We had people claiming that Gatti and Zab would win, PBF always pulls through. He is 42-0. Are you guys blind?

    PBF 50-50 Hearns by analysis.

I'm a big fan of both guys, but this would be Floyd's toughest match-up by far, and I can definitely see him getting flattened.

Make no mistake -- Floyd's got a chin, but would it hold up in this matchup? I sure as hell wouldn't bet on it. And Hearns had the ability to outbox him too. Bad fight for Floyd... The smart money is on Hearns here.

Hearns beats the living hell out of an overly defensive Floyd and stops him in 9 or 10 rounds.. The only way Floyd survives is if he dances around the ring for 12 rounds and takes a wide UD for the Hitman.

The biggest problem Floyd has here stylistically is that Hearns doesn't even need to approach this fight aggressively to win a clear UD. He can stay behind that long jab and move forcing Floyd to take the role of aggressor which takes away his biggest advanage - his ability to counter.

Even if Hearns is aggressive it'll be difficult for Floyd to land counters on a guy with such a big reach advantage who also has very quick hands and against a guy who can bang like Hearns can.

Tommy has too many advantages over Floyd in this one.

He can neutralize Hearns right hand but its no way he gets close enough to do anything. To beat Hearns you had to be able to apply pressure, trying to counter from a distance is futile.

Its impossible for anyone to say a man with Floyd's boxing and physical gifts to say he'd just get blasted by anyone in the ring.

I believe he'd lose. Hearns has the specific advantages that a fighter needs to beat Floyd IMO. Would it be by KO or UD? Not sure. I could see either happening.

But it damn sure isn't a guaranteed win for Hearns. Like I said, Floyd is too good a boxer for anyone to say that. Real Talk

in the 80's, pbf would never be fighting at 147.

pbf would be a 140 fighter. the only reason hes at 147 and 154 is because boxing is at an all-time low right now.

hearns at 147 would ruin pbf. ****, donald curry would probably beat him.

Hearns was just too good in practically all areas to be threatened by Floyd in the ring.

reach and power would be something floyd had never dealt with, i can hearns dominating him in the first 4rounds by jabbing, than floyd doing well to nick a few from 5-8 than hearns at some point would hit him with that ****in right hand and floyds brain would turn to mush that would be in the 9th or 10thround.

Floyd would have to use his legs extensively in this fight to survive. He would have to be able to hurt Hearns at some point and finish him off.

Again, similar to Pacquaio, Floyd has to play it cautious, but this is one of those fights where power comes into play, so it's more difficult for me to find a reasonable way for Floyd to win this fight, but if rumors about Hearns' chin are true, and Mayweather really can crack, he could potentially win a decision by playing it safe on the outside.

If Hearns comes in aggressive Floyd could counter him, potentially hurt him, that go in for the finish.

The main question is, can Floyd hurt Hearns? Does Hearns get to Floyd first?
