We always tell them "This is not Burger King, you can't have it your way".

I heard Axl Rose say that to the crowd at a G n' R gig.

I always tell my new kids. "I really don't care if you become a boxer or not. I really don't care if you become a champion or not. What I do care about is that you become the best YOU that you can become".

It is God, family, education first at our gym.

Haha. Just like Ali when he was asked how long he shadow boxes for, he said "I shadow box untill my shadow gets tired."

:yep The self respect and integrity you showing these kids probably worth more than anything else you can teach them or any fame, $$$, or glory they may achieve. Some may even look up to you and follow in your footsteps as a trainer than a boxer. Good job guy and keep up the good work I hope you'll enjoy the fruits of your labor soon.

I have to brag a little more on Victor Bravo. He is 15 and he had been a pain to his parents, his teachers and just about anyone who had to deal with him as a kid. He has made such a turn around. He had As and one B on his last report card and his teachers say he has been a model student this year. Now that is something to get excited about. :happy:good
