    I remember thinking I could fight after a few weeks at a gym, I thought I was too fast, and too powerful for anybody in the gym. My trainer must have seen this and got me to spar pretty early. It was a humbling experience.

    I used a variation of this. I always say, "You hurt here so you won't hurt there". as I point to the ring.

    Boxing will humble the best of us. I don't fear getting beat if I make it to the Masters but I do fear looking bad or not being competetive. It would suck if after all these years I were to get blown away.

    We have a 14 year old boxer in the gym named Miguel Mondragon. He reminds me of Brandon Rios at that age. He hits hard with both hands and he looks and acts a little ******ed. :rofl

    Woke up sore and tired this morning. Early hours at work, house repairs and the boxing gym all took their toll. It is a good sore though. Two hours of working mitts with the girlz and boyz at the gym is very enjoyable and rewarding.
