you can't stop watching it. Bivol couldn't stop doing it. Canelo couldn't stop Bivol from doing it. I love it.

Why didn't Canelo do anything to counter those punches when he had the chance and had to tell Bivol to come back to throw some more?

Good question, probably because he wanted to gauge how effective Bivol could land with him on the ropes first, then when he motioned him back to come back for more, he would be more looking to counter, but Bivol was smart, he knew Canelo was trying to bait him in again so he could counter and didn't oblige. Bivol certainly did his homework and wasn't going to make the same mistakes other fighters made with Canelo along the ropes.

With his gloves you mean. 1 landed clean, the right hand, another landed partially, 1 was blocked skillfully, another one ricocheted off his shoulder, the rest hit gloves or were short. One of those that was fully blocked had a lot of force behind it and pushed his gloves back into his face but that's not a landed punch.

Only 1 fighter is scoring points in this scenario. Only in your weird head is the guy getting punched winning.

I didn't claim Canelo was winning that exchange. Bivol won that exchange with the 1 or 2 punches that landed.

Are you sure, Canelo was so effective in fighting back though…?

You see all the other imaginary punches he lands - how’d you not see all those shots he countered with?

Seems like he blocked most of those punches with his face
