I can't believe Joyce is 37 - Best athlete in the division?

Artur Beterbiev is 37 and still looks like he's in his prime.

 

And he can perform somersaults!

 

He only started boxing at 22 and only turned pro at 31 (I believe) so that explains why he doesn’t have much mileage

Joyce is a beast and can definitely win a world title

 

It's probably cause he started late. How many fights and hard camps, amateur fights, also training style, lifestyle, all is a factor.
His reflex and speed though is shot to....

 

Heavyweight tends to have a lot of late starters

 

He's twice the athlete AJ is.

 

Freakish athleticism. It’s his engine for me. 270lb and a relentless pressure fighter who breaks the opponents will. Coupled with a chin that is made of pure granite

 

Joyce & Fury own the division

AJ is a bum nobody who will keep fading into obscurity.

Usyk will be dealt with in 6 months. whether it's Fury, Joyce or myself.

Brits on top. God save the Queen.

 

AJ Usyk did 500K more buys than Fury Whyte.

Fury is out on his own as the best in the division but for some reason casual fans lap up AJ. Be interesting to see what the Usyk loss has done to AJs commercial value. Had to have taken a big hit and most casual fans won’t be signing up to DAZN so his star will definitely fade

Joyce isn't pure muscle. Fury isn't past his prime (just changed his style), Usyk is not past his prime, but in a different weight category, but a bit late to perform as he did in the lighter one. Joyce is by far not the monster some kids see him. He's great, top boxer, but isn't close to a title for a reason. He's a heavy pro for 5 years, while Usyk got a title with three fights in that same category.
