I can't believe that the odds is now 6 -1 for Spence.

Pacquiao, at 42 years old, hasn’t been in the ring in two years. Errol Spence is in his prime and is much stronger than Pac. 6 to 1 is about right. Let’s not sugar coat what this is, Pac is one of the ATGs but age and inactivity is gonna play a huge factor here. If he win there’s no way you leave him out of top 10 all time.

 

Well... if Pac somehow pulls that win, it should be a huge surprise

I would've guessed it be more like 4:1. Maybe Pac fans aren't wagering like they used to. Expect the odds to tighten a bit as money comes in on him.

This isn't 2008-2009 Pac, this is 2021 Pac, that hasn't been in the ring since 2019. 2008 Pac would've had issues stylistic with Spence (I still think Pac would've been favored though). This Pac was out landed by Keith Thurman who really didn't want war and was content to pot shot and maneuver. Spence is coming forward to beat him up to the body and muscle him around. That's a hard fight for an extremely little guy to overcome. Look how Jeff Horn man handled him (Pac still won IMO but didn't look great), Spence is far stronger and better at that game.

The only suspense in this fight for me is whether and when Spence stops him. Can't see Pac actually winning.

The odds are actually 2.5-1 for Spence so i guess you should change the topic.Pac has many fans, after they are betting money on him the odds are going down for him, but the bookies(and the hate to lose money) were placing him as bigger outsider than his fans believe.We will see who is right, bookies or his fans.

 

I took a long layover in Vegas for the one and only reason of betting on Pac against Thurman. It ended up paying for my whole trip.

At 6-1, I am tempted to make the same play.........but I am a bit more hesitant this time around due to the potential for a close but clear pac win getting robbed on the cards.

 

Pacquiao is at that age where he might possibly still win, or the fight could look like Duran-Joppy.

Four years ago, he lost to Jeff Horn. Spence isn't Jeff Horn. Old timers can look solid one night and terrible the next. When they can't do it anymore, it can go bad really fast ... like Morales-Garcia II.

No one really thinks he lost to Jeff Horn. And Spence isn't dirty like Jeff Horn. I wouldn't reference that fight for this fight.
