I'm a Margarito fan and still will be, but I cannot deny what just happened. How can you? That was the worst beating I have ever seen, and the fight should have been stopped before the start of that round. Mosley was sublime, and he proved the doubters, including me, dead wrong. You won't hear me bring up weight issues, or training, or any kind of excuse. Mosley's night. As for Margarito, it was an unbelievable sad sight to see him in the corner with his trainer. He didn't look anywhere near as good as he had previously, and that was a lot to do with Mosley's speed and power. I think any fighter gets knocked out after they are hit as much as Margarito was hit tonight, and some of the shots are just absolutely ridiclious. I wish Margarito luck, I actually hope he retires with his wife, but I don't think he will. Speechless...unbelievable.
What a fighter. I've got nothing else to say about Mosley, I've always been a fan and this night topped everything else in his career. Regarding Margarito, I also would like to see him retire. He's taken too many punches, and now that the aura of his supposed invincibility is gone, he won't have anywhere near the success he had. All that he was built up to be and now getting stopped, his confindence in his ability is sure to deminish.
