on countdown he seemed quite bitter about everything george. bitter about good looking fighters and their opportunities as well. i think he feels like a victim. he does seem like an idiot, not a genius. its a shame that his brother is much the same, maybe a little bit more intelligent?
The whole Diaz brothers middle finger fascination is so played out. The middle finger was cool when we were 10 years old.
Yeah he does always carry on like everyone is conspiring against him. He tends to be a navel-gazing sook. For such a tough guy, he seems to spend a lot of time acting like a little baby. I mean, the UFC is trying their best to put him in fights against the best competition in the world and pay him millions to do it, yet he seems to genuinely think they're out to get him. Despite the fact that they've backed him through several acts of disrespect, unprofessionalism, suspensions etc. Yet every time you see him, he's whining about how it's him against the world. And he has social-anxiety issues and a high-profile job that involves regular drug testing, so he self-medicates with pot. What a genius. Because being a stoner will REALLY help your social anxiety. atsch Still, I like watching him fight. Yeah Nate doesn't exactly seem too smart either, but he definitely comes across as less of a headcase. He seems more respectful and appears to have a better grasp of what his profession actually is. :smoke :hat
Diaz doesn't think. He talks out of his ass, he's a foolish juvenile. I watched the UFC preview and the way he cries about GSP being on magazines and having a good team because he has more money etc. yet fails to understand GSP has earned it. Diaz is very ignorant. Also, he bitched that he should've won vs. condit just because condit was fighting going backwards? I thought Diaz had boxing in his repertoire ? Shouldn't get it? lol guy is just dumb
I dunno, I think everyone loved it at the beginning of the third round in the Cerrone fight, and when Nate caught Pellegrino in that triangle. Those were potent middle fingers.
Diaz needs anti-depressants and a shrink. He will eventually meltdown and either hurt someone bad outside of the cage or hurt himself.
I think that a lot of people use marijuana for that very purpose. It can have the exact opposite effect, but that depends on the person.
Nick Diaz is an antisocial, maladjusted, moron. I think GSP is going to spank his unruly ass when they meet in the octagon. Diaz is too one dimensional to pose much of a problem for GSP in the long run. You heard it here folks. Bet the bankroll on GSP.
Working great for Diaz, isn't it. He seems to be getting more and more well-adjusted as his career goes on. :hat
It's true. Diaz acts like a child - that about sums it up. And he talks like a ***** a LOT - he seems to have a real issue with GSP being a rich superstar with a mainstream profile. What he doesn't realize is that, in addition to being one of the 3 top mixed martial artists in the world for years, GSP earns all the other stuff with the attitude. He's polite and professional. He dresses well and carries himself like a respectful person. He meets his obligations. He expresses himself well. And so on. He's an ambassador for the sport and for his people. What does Diaz do? Sulks and throws tantrums like a child whenever he's asked to do an interview, runs away from his obligations, no-shows people who have paid a lot of money and gone to a lot of trouble to set things up for him. He dresses, speaks and carries himself like an ignorant street thug. And when he speaks, he can't string three words together and every second word out of his mouth is either an f-bomb or calling somebody a *****. And then he wonders why GSP has endorsement deals and profiles in magazines while he doesn't. atsch :hat
Wow, Rob finally changes the avatar. That is a cool pic of Nick Diaz. He is stoned out of his mind there.
Well, it's not like he is complete failure in life. He is fighting for the UFC WW title this coming Saturday. And yeah, it might work out very well for him, which is why he acts this way around fight time...when he can't have it.
That's true. He is more of a success than any of us. And he has an awesome work ethic in the gym. But if he had a more professional attitude, he would have made a lot more money and been involved in a lot more big fights by now. Successful as he is, he makes it WAY harder for himself than it needs to be. :think It's a fair point. :good :hat
