I can't see him winning, even though I'm rooting for him. To beat Khan, you need good lateral movement, a good jab and a decent chin. Paulie at his very best, has all 3. Amir has the physical tools but doesn't really have the intuition and boxing intelligence to use it to the fullest. He's great at destroying guys in front of him where he can use his speed and power but against someone who can move and box, he's going to have problems. I see Paulie winning a MD at the very least.
Paulie's KO percentage is 16.67%, which is only a little behind Willie Limond (22.86%) and at a higher level. Limond had Khan all over the place. Malignaggi can win this by KO. However, Khan will probably win by decision. Malignaggi is too easy to hit and Khan's defence has improved a lot. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDsdOEXk1oA[/ame] 7:05
Khans chin will never be iron but there was a lot of factors that made his chin total crap at lightweight, eg being weight drained (that shot landed straight on the temple, if he hasnt rehydrated fully then that was a good indication of dehydration)
I have no idea who will win tomorrow, but Amir should obviously win. First off...Malignaggi isn't the one being touted as an A level fighter. He's lost to Hatton(who everyone thinks should retire) and his most recent best win is over Juan Diaz who has been proven to be a B level fighter. Khan on the other hand is the one that is being marketed as a potential top level fighter. Roach obviously doesn't feel Khan is even ready for Maidana...so what does that say about Malignaggi? He's a B level fighter who can barely break wind let alone a jaw. If Khan loses it's not because Paulie is a great fighter, it's because Khan really sucks ass.
HAHA Paulie got his ass kicked by Ricky Hatton and barely beat fat LW, part-time lawyer Juan Diaz. Ridiculous.
