I still don't think anything you have said shows that Joshua is now a much more well rounded fighter but anyway...

I thought that Joshua would win the rematch probably by a stoppage in round 8 or 9.

Cheers. My predictions are only really good at the higher weight spectrum though. Just something about the style of those bigger guys I can read.

When I say more well-rounded fighter I don't mean to imply that he's suddenly learnt a load of new skills to round out his weaknesses, more that he's always had those skills and has now learnt that he can put them into practice to win a fight outside of just trying to bomb guys away. To a degree he had to do that in the Parker fight, but never against a fighter who'd brutally beat him down.

Like you said though, time will tell.

If Fury sets about him like he did Wilder he wins by stoppage or wide UD.

Yeah, but that would be a very risky strategy.

Fury knows Matchroom judges will never give him a decision. Joshua's chin is proven brittle. He needs to hunt him down.

My personal thought on this is a 100%, ideal weight and perfect game plan AJ beats a 70-80% Fury.......and that is the only way AJ beats him, if Fury takes the threat AJ poses lightly and has the 'Wallin' attitude towards AJ, AJ has a very good chance of winning.

The difference between AJ and Fury, is AJ knows Fury is a serious threat whereas I wonder whether Fury considers AJ the same. I also think that if Fury goes at AJ the same way as in the Wilder rematch, that's where it gets interesting as AJ's offense doesn't rely on just one punch but rather a combination of punches which tends to lead to a greater chance of landing something.

I still favour Fury 80-20/ 70-30 kind of odds but, I honestly see it being Fury's toughest fight unless AJ really drops the ball.

He won't go about it in the same way though. Joshua is a lot more dangerous than Wilder and can fight on the backfoot. Fury will likely mix up boxing on the outside with periods of rough stuff to get Joshua out of his rhythm. I can see him getting a stoppage but it'll be late in the fight, and hard fought.

I don't see Fury allowing him to settle into any rhythm, will be peppering him with shots all over and will likely hurt him early which will make Joshua go into survival mode. He will no doubt have the odd few second flurry but he's outmatched and the Parker/Ruiz II style won't work here. Punchers chance of course but he doesn't carry the single shot threat of Wilder so Fury's confidence will surely be supreme.

Nothing shameful or wrong there. The majority did and for good reasons.

If Fury fights with a safety first approach like he did against Wlad or in Wilder I, he’d have to be heavily favoured. But Fury from the Wilder rematch vs Joshua could get interesting.
