  1. You all know me as a man of Integrity, I say what I feel and what I see - I don't bull**** and will admit when I'm wrong. Well......

Pavlik has said he'd take a fight with Joe, Arum has said he wants to make the fight but Joe C is looking past Pavlik to Jones, a man no one cares about nor thinks he'll lose against. Imo Joe is avoiding Pavlik and you know what? For a man with such a big mouth his sudden bout of silence really irates me!!!! Joe IS ducking Pavlik!:nono

I hereby resign from the Joe C Mafia :-(

Don't think he's avoiding Pavlik, maybe the RJJ fight offers more money and Joe wants some big money fights before he's out?
A Pavlik fight is FAR better for sure.

I think you're taking this a little too hard.

Calzaghe is approaching his late 30s and wants to cash in on a great career. Jones is easy money for him, and Pavlik will still be there for him in his farewell fight.

If he retires after Jones, then OK, maybe, but he shouldn't turn down a big payday against Jones any more than he should have against Hopkins.

I want him to fight a legit contender at 175, but I realize it isn't going to happen.

Chill out man, You can still be a Calzaghe fan. I know I am. Look at it this way, Calzaghe will beat Roy Jones, and THEN fight Pavlik. Pavlik is young, wtf is the rush? The only thing is that time is against Calzaghe, but who the **** cares hes the one making this decision right?

Joe will school Pavlik, the mass hysteria on here right now reminds me of 2.5 years ago when everybody was riding Lacy's train. Will Pavlik fight in Britian? After Joe beats Jones he can retire whooping the latest US-Hype Train.

Just because Calzaghe may be fighting Jones later this year doesn't mean he won't fight Pavlik in 2009.

Arum appears to be giving Pavlik soft touches like Rubio which may be to build up the Calzaghe fight and minimize the risk of him being defeated.

I've never really viewed Calzaghe as a gobshite

  11. Ha Ha! It's all me mate, no hacking :D

I'm just angry because Joe is dismissing Pavlik far far too easily then chasing Jones. Do I think Pavlik will beat Joe? I honestly don't know but regardless Pavlik would be Joe's best opponent yet and certainly wouldn't be undersized when fighting him.
Hopkins spoiled to make Joe look bad, Pavlik has the potential to plain make Joe look bad - its a fight that should be made, its one of those fights that if it doesn't happen one of the boxers (most likely Joe) will always be remembered for ducking it but as I said i'm gone from the JC mafia until he grows a pair, I won't defend him anymore.

Joe C. ducked Tarver. The man said he would fight the winner of Tarver vs. Woods after he fought Hopkins. When he saw what Tarver did to Woods all of a sudden he shut his mouth and started looking for lower weight fighters and shot legends.

From what i understand Joe Cal only plans fighting 2 more times or something like that so he's going to take the money fights.
