I cant understand how anyone scored for Ward???

I cant understand how anyone scored for Ward???

The first round Kovalev looked a clear winner
second round Kovalev scored the knockdown
I felt Kovalev was driving Ward around the ring, for most of the fight.
There were some close rounds but not one round that I felt Ward was a big clear winner in.
The first round I gave to Ward was round 7 which was close
Only one fighter looked like they had been in a battle
Watch each round as an individual fight and not look to give rounds because someone did marginally better than the previous round
I notice the fans that scored for Ward seem to all write they scored it 114/113 as if to tie in with the judges yet the judges didnt score all rounds the same, so would be interested to see scorecards to get this result.
I have never had a problem with even rounds as some rounds are even, but I notice that many have scored even rounds for this fight

Watching live I only scored 3 rounds to Ward but having watched again and trying to be very subjective I have given Ward another round and scored some even

Round 1 Kovalev 10/9
Round 2 Kovalev 10/8
Round 3 Kovalev 10/9
Round 4 Kovalev 10/9 but thought it was a close round
Round 5 Kovalev 10/9
Round 6 Kovalev 10/9
Round 7 Ward 10/9
Round 8 Ward 10/9
Round 9 Kovalev 10/9 tell me for those who dont think Kovalev won a round in the second half how you scored that for Ward
Round 10 Even. If I had to shade it one way it would probably be Kovalev, but for arguments sake wouldnt complain if someone gave it to Ward
Round 11 Ward 10/9
Round 12 Even.

Now I scored it 117/113 for Kovalev

If you gave the even rounds I scored to Ward it would be 115/113 for Kovalev and if I gave the round I thought to be close to Ward I could only find it to be 114/114

I think a noticeable thing was that often Ward was the stronger fighter who would tie his opponent up and push them back with punches on the inside which he was not really able to do to Kovalev.

Did you score round 3 because Ward did better than the first two rounds? Cant see how anyone gave that to Ward? Still everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I appreciate you posting yours here

 

Round 9 to Ward?

 

Dont need to. Did that and scored for Kovalev again and it does appear that overall I am in the majority

 

I really struggle to see the 3rd round for Ward or the 9th round for him. Sure Ward was doing better than round 2 but I couldnt see a case for him winning those rounds.
Still I do think ward came back well in a fight I thought was set for Kovalev as the bell went. I was shocked about 114/113 and then the decision went to the other fighter
