The fight is pathetic and I will not watch it. I hope he loses to be honest.

Give the kid a break, he probably wont be good enough to hang on to his title, I agree with that once he steps it up again, but let the kid get a few paydays under his belt, he's earned it.

This is the sort of problem having multiple world titles creates. There is incentive for a fighter is to reach the top 4 but sometimes trying to improve on that isn't worth the risk. You can't really criticise Burns, but it isn't good for the division

it's very difficult to win a world title and i wouldn't begrudge anyone a few easy paydays and voluntary defences, especially if they aren't the most gifted fighter. i agree that burns is far removed from the best in the division and i think the approach his team have adopted is spot on.

i think fraud is a little harsh..

Burns is cool man with the Scottish public .Just fighting who's put in front of him and enjoying his time as a world champ .He deserves it . He's a warrior. Especially the way he beat Martinez .It's not conning it's just being friendly .

This is a horrid defence, and a horrid opponent whatever way you look at it. Had no problems with the Evensen fight who I thought proved to be a better fighter than we all thought, just a bit undersized.

Beating Appleby should have put Lareya in line for a shot at the Commonwealth at the very most. Matty Hatton is a more deserving challenger for the WBC 154 belt than Lareya is as Burns opponent, thats how bad this is. :patsch

Presumably then if Laryea wins he then deserves a break and a couple of easy defences and on and on it goes. It's laughable.
