Boxed, you are correct. Walter Dipley shot and killed Stanley Ketchel ,on a ranch in Missouri 1910. Dipley was sent to prison,and was paroled in 1933. There were rumors that Ketchel's friends still living, would seek revenge and kill Dipley, but he lived for another 23 years, dying in 1946.
