I'm complaining because all you've done is come on here about the pro-Pavlik bias and rant on about how his going to get beaten to within an inch of his life, but you haven't given a single reason... so if you have one, let's hear it!

How many threads do you think you are likely to make between now and December to tell us that you're not going to tell us why you think Williams will win?

 

pavlik is going to dismember pauls face to the point that even his mother wont know him. pavlik is a monster at throwing right hands, and left hooks are his specialty. go ahead and re-watch the pw, marg. fight. marg landed left hooks all night. so if thats the case and left hooks are pavliks bread and butter what in gods name do you think is going to happen to willimas after he feels pavliks left hook?

Look at the right side of Miranda's face, and Jermain's face after either fight. The RIGHT side of the face gets hit with Pav's LEFT hand, right?

People seem to only notice the show closing RIGHT hands.

It's that jab turned hook shot, I think, that really tears dudes up.

 

You could be wrong? Man if you wanna make a bold statement just make it. Pavlik has always been overrated anyway. PW UD or TKO 10!

 

i think he's been doubted more than overrated.

everyone saw a skinny joke of a white kid tune up for miranda. he wasnt overrated there. and he was a joke to camp taylor and to a lot of other people prior to the taylor fight. he wasnt overrated there either.

perhaps some drank the kool aid before the bhop fight...that fight always made me uncomfortable. so i'll half way grant you that one but when has he been overrated throughout his career?? he was never supposed to make it to taylor but did and was never supposed to beat taylor but did...twice.

That's what people don't get, IMO. It's been ****in' FUN to be a Pavlik fan on his way up. He finally got a Title Eliminator with Zertuche, KO'd him in highlight reel fashion only to be told..."Wait, if you REALLY want a fight with Taylor, you got to beat Miranda first too!".

Miranda fight, all press releases/conferences were nothing but arguments etc. between Taylor and Miranda. It was literally as if Pavlik was not even there. Then HBO shows a 15 minute documentary on the life and times of Edison Miranda, then is like "Oh yeah, some skinny white dude from Ohio is here too" as Pavlik jogged into the ring.

After beating Spinks in the Main Event, Taylor gave Pav some props, but only said he'd fight whoever brought the most money. Tried to make the fight Non-Title, threw in the rematch clause (@ 166), along with other "road bumps" but SURPRISE, Pav said I'll take it!

Fans of "perfect" fighters or whatever, prolly just don't understand the quality of the experience to have happen to your favorite fighter what happened with Kelly in that fight. To be so excited to Finally Be There, then to see the debacle in round 2, thinkin' to your self...NOOOOO!!! all those sumbitches are gonna think they were right!!! Then get to watch as the guy storms back into the fight and takes the MW Championship by friggin' nasty KO.

Then feelin' like it's finally "come true", go on to ESB to talk about the hellacious fight that just occurred and from top to bottom the front forum page reads like: "OH YEAH...Well Calzaghe would own both of them AND Kessler would just knock them out.." :!: Got damned Calzombies!!:twisted::yep Wouldn't even let us enjoy that **** for ONE minute.

Walk With Me, you think the 5 or 6 Pav fans are bad that shoot you down if you make a post about how you think Williams will win? try dealin' with those mudder ****ers for a while. NO Middleweight fight could even be talked about without the thread gettin' crashed by Calzombies actin' like they ain't got no damned sense.

 

those articles that boo posted links to w/ kelly talking about people pointing and laughing and clowning when they found out they were fighting him tells you all you need to about pav and why its so fun to have been on this ride from the beginning. thats pretty much what people were doing pre miranda and pre taylor....pointing and laughing. hell steward is usually pretty reserved when it comes to trashing other fighters (yeah like everyone else he can chime in when the mood strikes him) but he was very dismissive of pav and you could tell when the cameras turned off he was laughing w/ everyone else.

 

Don't get me wrong I don't think he's a bum or any crazy dumb **** like that. Honestly beating taylor wasn't as impressive to me because I have never been impressed by Taylor. Taylor is a frontrunner with too many technical flaws. The way he destroyed Miranda was more impressive to me than the Taylor fights. Anyway, I just think PW can use some of the blueprint Hopkins laid to get the win. I got nothing but respect for KP and he earned everything he has. I knock fools out on FNR4 using KP when they go get Hagler and Robinson.

 

Pavlik will punish the Punisher.

 

I like the fight.I think it's gonna be good.

But I'm kinda leaning towards Pavlik.

 

??? what is it a secret that only you know? give me a break. yeah im a pavlik hugger but at least i give some facts of why he will win. you give nothing.
