Name what you have seen to be Pavlik's downfall... Who cares if others talk back for 10 pages, that's what a forum is there for, a debate !

 

Williams has dominated much smaller fighters. Pavlik is just about the same height and brings much, much more power than any fighter Williams has fought. If he gets hit flush by Pavlik he's going down hard. Williams is probably banking on Pavlik being broken by personal issues and the Hopkins massacre. It's a very risky fight for him. But it's very risky for Pavlik as well. Can't wait to see it.

 

Pavlik needs to work Williams body which is something I have not seen any fighter do against Williams.

 

I think Pavlik just wants Williams to get in a war with him, plain and simple. Williams on the other hand will like to move and land from the outside all night, a little like he did with Margarito.

I just sit back and laugh at all the people who think that Williams will crumble the first time he takes a punch from Pav. He has a stellar chin. And despite the revisionist history he has never been dazed in a fight. And has never been close to being knocked down - not even against Margarito...

as far as pavlik destroying williams thats fact. another fact is that willimas will be calling his mommy after the one sided beat down he is about to get.

 

Not saying Williams doesn't have a good chin, but he's only been hit at WW, and has never been hit by a MW, let alone a champion MW who punches harder than anyone else in the division. Williams may prove me wrong, but I think if Pavlik can get through Williams defense and back him up to the ropes that he'll knock him out.

 

It could definately get real ugly for Pavlik. He's at a tremendous hand and footspeed disadvantage. Williams can also punch from all angles, is left handed, and actually moves his head. If Williams had fought his whole career at MW, I would pick him without hesitation. Pavlik may very well find it very difficult to land that right hand. If that happens, he's ****ed.
