I like Williams but it would be funny to see the forum turn on you if he loses. I'll pile on too just because you sound like the type of person who can dish it out but can't take it.

Slow-ass Margarito was hitting Williams with damn near every shot in the book in the last half of that fight - P. Willy and his fans better hope upon hope Pavlik doesn't get through that much.

Margarito did some decent body work. Of course neither the fans nor compubox gave him an ounce of credit for any of that in terms of scoring, but it seemed to be fairly effective. On a side note.. This past weekend I like how Merchant exposed how compubox does not score body punches... They said Arreola only landed 6 powershots or some ****. :rofl

Williams will realize how hard is to fight somebody his own size.

 

The only opponents Kelly Pavlik has chosen to fight in the last two years have been:

1. The then-undefeated Middleweight champion, Jermain Taylor
2. The notoriously crafty Bernard Hopkins almost two weight divisions out of his comfort zone
3. Paul Williams.

If it weren't for Pavlik, you wouldn't even be talking about this fight.

Then your thoughts need ironing out with some factual content. Obviously you think Pdub will win; you're his biggest ****ing fan. So far, all you've done is keep quiet while the Pavlik fans post (partisan, but) rational analysis and then complain about how biased they are. If you think you know better, and you want to go around making sensationalist claims about how PW will ruin Pavlik, let's hear why.

The way I see it is this:

Pavlik is a very large Middleweight who has taken massive, flush shots from Taylor, Miranda and a LHW Bernard Hopkins. He hasn't been stopped.

Paul Williams has failed to "destroy" much weaker, smaller, worse-conditioned and worse-chinned fighters than Pavlik in his career.

If you think this is a recipe for a disastrous night for Pavlik, I really don't know what to say to you. Calling it for PW is one thing, but to call a destruction you must have your head rammed pretty far up his ass.
