I thought it was okay. Nothing new, but a few interesting tid bits. I think the idea that the same kid who does all that crazy Iron Man Warehouse stuff is also into yoga is interesting.

Well, if you don't think KP deserves credit for KOing Pdub, then the same should apply to PBF.

I have a feeling you are right. I have been imaging the two of them in the ring and it is not looking good for Pavlik.

Okay, I understand. I just don't think this is gonna be the war everyone thinks it is. I don't blame Kelly, Paul and his stupid people are willing to put him in the ring so it's fair play. ****, HBO is stupid enough to buy it, for a lot of money at that.

I read a post the other day where someone said while watching P-will at 147 they feel as though we(boxing fans) are being robbed of a great WW. While I'm not sold on that..I think he may have had a chance. His Stamina with his volume and size was something else.

Ohh I see. It has nothing to do with Kelly. He is going to do what he is suppose to do. What both Promoters and HBO want him to do. You just don't put a young up and coming guy who has a good WW chin in with a MW that can knock out Supermiddle's.

This has nothing to do with Floyd. I don't even wish to bring him in it. It's no point to it really. Look at my post you can see I have never even commented on the fight. Don't assume.

WWM - I think you place too high of a value on athletic ability alone. you don't have to be a RJJ or FMW to beat guys. All Paul Williams holds over Pavlik is workrate. Fundamentally, I think Pavlik is more sound. He's been able to beat down brawlers at their own game (Miranda) and defeat boxers (Jermain Taylor) as well, with the exception of Hopkins, the only man he's lost to in his professional career. I think the problems he had with Hopkins were attirbuted to Hopkin's craftyness and unusual rhythm and timing. Paul Williams only has one speed and its 90mhp, but even at that, he wasn't able to shut out Margarito who is slow as molasses and whom he had a fair size / speed advantage over. I have a feeling about this one and its that Paul Williams will be knocked out for the first time in his career in the 8-10th round in an exciting fight.

I feel like it's Williams who has to execute a smart the game plan perfectly just to win by Decision. He's never faced a guy who can hit as hard as Pavlik and can take as much punishment as Pavlik. And it's not as if Williams is some slick, master defensive boxer - he's a workhorse who keeps his opponents from launching effective attacks by smothering them with punches, and if Pavlik can weather those punches (which I think he can) then for sure Pavlik will land his own punches, then it will get really ugly for Williams.

Pavlik by KO is what I'm thinking, unless Williams suddenly becomes a slick, defensive fighter, who can box his was to a points victory.
