Well I don't rate Hatton, he's overrated and I wanted to see him get busted up and exposed. However I didn't particularly want to see him get embarrased like that.
The way he went head-first into the ringpost before going down...it was like Tua when Lewis moved out the way. Pretty bad to get knocked down like that, by a guy you were mocking on the pads etc. suggesting he had no pop.

he did his best but he got battered. Just like some of us said. All his talk and niggle before the fight came back to bite him on the arse.

funny how it works, his fans disgraced themselves from the moment the national anthems started right through to the interviews....Ricky got leathered.....and Mayweather came across very well in the interview.
I did enjoy Ricky's line baout it being a fluke though, good stuff.

Ricky deserves a lot of praise for his self-belief, mental strength and faith that what appears impossible can be achieved with a lot of willpower and effort...

But at the end of the day, he never got close to winning this fight. The sad thing is that I think he let emotion get the better of him in the ring. I think he could have been more competitive in the fiight itself but he was out of control at times. I think FM wins this fight 10 times out of 10. But I think that Ricky should be able to control his temper better, he's had 40 odd fights. Floyd, on the other hand, was measured, controlled and precise. He had Ricky right where he wanted him all night long.

It was inevitable that he let emotion get the better of him...he started doing it on 24/7 and it was obvious at the weigh-in too - he knew the task was quasi impossible...and would most likely require a heroic effort - and that comes only with lots of strong emotional strings attached...

 I dont follow you. You suck i just happend to venture across your post.
Men dont cry after fights except for unusual circumstances.
I could see a Joe Louis Fan crying after getting KO'd by Marciano for example..

    But crying over Hatton?:blood

    Hatton got his ass kicked.
And lets be blunt, I wanted him to win. I had it scored even when he got knocked out.
I have a thread in the main forum stating I thought the cards were stacked against him and I believe that.

But for the love of God boy stop crying:-(
