I hope you've come to your senses now Dunky, now you've seen all the excuses and nonsense talked by the Hatton fans.
Is Hatton good mates with Steve Foster or what?

It seems Hatton & half of Manchester are friends with anyone who fights Alex Arthur.
I was ****in raging & still am that all these englanders travel up to Scotland to cheer on anyone who fights Arthur. Who the **** is Foster jnr? nobody until he got a fight with Arthur, & all of a sudden Hatton, Farnell, & a million other englanders are ringside:twisted: Then theres Rawling, shooting a hot load every time Foster landed a punch. & then there was Bunce after the fight, saying if Foster won it would have been a perfect fairytale:twisted: Thats why I get so angry when we are all classed as 'brits' cos while the english & welsh love each other, us scots are truly the enemy. British boxing my big fat hairy scottish arse.

Im on the brink of giving up following boxing anymore. I cant be arsed with all the bull**** of being the hated part of british boxing. It makes me sick to be honest.

You lot have to stop saying that. It makes you look like ignorant pricks who believe everything Holywood tells them.

If you really believe that, please explain to me how, baring in mind we already beat them in the battle of Britain and the Germans began putting their efforts into the Russian front.

You helped end the war earlier but you didn't win the war. And in fact, if we had been taken, if the Germans (Axis) had won the Battle of Britain, there is a very good chance you would have been taken as the Germans would have been able to come at you from 4 fronts.

Don't be ridiculous. 24/7 was incidental and you know it. Billy played a small part in that and I guarentee the part he did play was not up to him. Do you think he would run to the directors yelping, "I've just finished making me roll up, quick, get me on film!!"?

    Ha! You weird wanker!

You go completely out of your way to cheer a Scottish fighter. So Ricky cheers on someone he knows, do you want him to cheer the Scot, "sorry mate, I know we are friends but there were a few Scots following me the other night so I can't really support you".

You'll find any ****ing excuse, won't you?

Don't be daft, you're not the enemy. If anything it's you lot that will find any reason to have a go at us.

That said, I agree with your point. This country is so England (specifically London) centric and I hate that. The Scots are shown little respect by the south of England.

There is so much nonsense posted on this thread I don't know where to start. Firstly - Ricky Hatton is NOT going to get rid of Billy Graham just because he lost to Floyd Mayweather. Secondly Team Hatton did have a strategy but sadly things didn't go their way on the night:

    1. Mayweather was bigger and stronger than they anticipated
    2. Mayweather covered up brilliantly on the inside
    3. Hatton lost his cool after being deducted a point
    4. Cortez was stricter than they expected

Hatton lost to the best fighter on the Planet - there's no shame in that and no need to change a formula that has worked so well for him in the past. I think a few people have watched half an hour of 247 and feel they can comment extensively on Hatton's training camp:patsch

Personally I think Ricky and Billy will learn from this defeat and come back stronger. If anything his team are now more aware of Ricky's limitations and can work around them.

As for Hatton going to Scotland to support Foster Jr - what is he supposed to do sit at home in the dark and rock backwards and forwards???

Yeah, it's really embarrassing getting beaten by the best boxer of his generation, a boxer many think will be considered an all time great, in the 10th, after putting up a hell of a fight.

I think he really just proved there that he will find any excuse, any reason, no matter how slight, to use against Ricky and slag him off.

    PAthetic!

Its the way I've heard some people say oh well if the fight was in England and the referee was different Ricky might have been able to win that annoys me.

No. No he ****ing wouldnt. He would perhaps be outclassed slightly less comprehensively, but he would still be totally and completely owned. He cant beat Mayweather and looking back on it its embarressing that people thought he ever could.
