I accidentally checked Boxrec for Vazquez's record and found the result of their fight unaware that the bout took place earlier today. I soon found out here that it was based on the accumulated damage from Vazquez's earlier fights to open that cut once again. Vazquez last fight was a bad omen, as he was cut from essentially a nobody. Now spoiled, I watched the bout for a warrior's final run, and the cuts were so much worse than I thought they would be.

I knew Vazquez was too damaged for a 4th fight and I pray that a 5th fight will not happen. Both warriors have served their time in the ring against one another and Vazquez should hang up the gloves. But the sad thing is I know he ****in wont. He's too proud of a fighter. I...damn.

Dont watch it bro. I almost cried myself, after the first knockdown seeing Izzy on his knees like that, I felt a huge lump in my throat. But my man instincts kicked in to turn that sadness into anger. Shame on team Vasquez for taking that fight.

I just felt sad. Felt bad... I imagine somewhat similar to watching Ali toward the end of his career (I wasn't alive to watch him live).

The eyes were not ready for a fight. It's a shame.

Definantly should've taken more time to heal them eyes up or undergo surgery. You could see how bad his eyes really are b4 the fight even started.

It's 2-2...they should leave it at that...

Marquez overall has proved he is the better boxer...

Man it was so depressing seeing him hold up "5" for a fifth fight. He does not understand the danger he's putting himself into. For most boxers past their primes, they know they've deteriorated but they still feel they can prove something. For Izzy, it does not even register to him that he's damaged.

Its a shame that the boxing uneducated are going "herp derp, Rafael owned Vazquez this time derp." Even Marquez's dumbass feels that way lol. But no disrespect to Marquez, he came to win and he did just that. Thats the way boxing is.

The sad thing about this is that Vasquez is really only done because of his eyes. He actually looked pretty quick in there and powerful. If he could somehow fix his eyes he could still have a career.

For me it was more anger and disgust. I was yelling at the tv for the referee to stop the fight. I couldn't believe they let him off the stool after the 2nd round.
